I was looking for a family Dr. for my wife three kids and I. Heard lots of good things about him and multiple people referred me but when I called to make an appointment they would not see me because I am currently on subutex have been for two years and im not a druggie. To me that is discrimination and judging me before he even knows why or how long Ive been on this medication.

Dr. G is an amazing doctor I live in Marion NC and I nor my mother have seen or know of a doctor here that actually cares has compassion and really tries help you They all assume everyone is trying to get medication they dont need And that does make it hard for patients that truly need it I dont care if I HAVE a half inch bruise on my elbow he will examine it like it was a 12 foot gash And Treat it as if it was a 12 foot gash I love the staff as well Lori and April are they best nurses in the world God bless them

My grandma is a patient of his and has been going to him for many years. He does a good job at trying to find the correct medications for hershe has Parkinsons but when he comes in the room he does not talk very much and always types away on his computer I will talk to him and I am never fully aware if he is listening to me and hears my concerns or questions his staff is friendly and the MA does returns phone calls I wish he was a little more talkative and would show some better bedside manners he is very technical and doesnt feel like he has a bond with his patients but he is good to my grandma and Im thankful for that I just wish he would show more interest in her when his is in the room other then that he is a good DR.

My husband and I have both been going to Dr. Genant since Dr. Gould retired. In fact Dr. Gould recommended him to us. We have both been so happy with Dr. Genant and think he and his staff are among the most excellent offices in the Carolinas Healthcare System. He is very matter of fact with you in that he truly listens to your concerns and addresses them in a very timely manner. I can call his office at any time and get an appt soon and his staff is always very professional and friendly.
