Best staff and they care about you. In my two weeks after surgery and all is great. Dr. Mallico and his staff are great. They take time from the beginning to end with you and make sure you feel comfortable with your decision. This was my best decision after meeting Dr. Mallico , Michelle the nutritionist and nurses. They took time to explain and make sure I understood everything. .

NHBS-R has always been very respectful and courageous to me. From the Appointment desk Attendants to the Nutritionist to the Nurses and especially Dr. Mallico. My Health and Nutrition has been top priority and I can thank them enough. From my experience, and from being in the waiting room, in eyesight view witnessing their interactions with others, they've been nothing but a very kind, friendly, and professional staff.

I went to the Seminar, the Doctor Speaking was Arrogant, one of the Staff came in to look at the group as if sizing us up in judgment, the Desk Staff's Attitude was Horrible! If they don't Like the way you look, they will not give helpful information. They should be closed down. Bring a New group of people with Better Attitudes. After all they ARE working for the CUSTOMERS!

I have an appointment to go here for the orientation and after reading these reviews I'm very skeptical about coming here. I hope the office manager and Novant has addressed these issues stated here. There are too many similar complaints about the same people for it not to be true. This clinic is like any other, happy patients will stay and recommend. Unhappy patients will not use you and not recommend your facility. It's Bad business not to fix the problem.

I was a new patient, I went to the orientation and i had called several times afterwards to get financial guidance so I was prepared when the time would come for payment. I had called the hospital multiple times, everyone was very nice and all had gave me the same quote. The front desk staff at Rowan Bariatrics on numerous occasions acted as if I was a inconvenience and asked me if i had looked anywhere else for the program. They acted as if i wouldn’t be able to pay for my services. I did not feel like they wanted my business and felt very unwelcome. I ended up canceling my appointment and went else where. Also they do not have a package deal if you are paying self pay. They are very expensive. Not satisfied what so ever.

I would give this a zero. I think the front desk Bethany is so rude. She wouldnt help me find answers. She kept everything short and no professional manners. This is the worst health facility I have ever been in and I was treated poorly. This experience made me go to Wake Forest Baptist.

BEWARE…..Debbie in the front office has a terrible attitude, she is always belittling and rude. I asked Beverly in the back what the front office lady’s name (because at this point I didn’t know, because her name tag was backwards) she said she didn’t know….. how do you not know the peoples names are that you work with!? This must be a reoccurring situation if she knew to cover for her that quickly. Mallico & Gretchen are wonderful however their support staff is severely lacking. They have awful attitudes and treat you as if you do not matter and that you are beneath them. I have been going here for years and for the office manager to allow it speaks volumes of her character as well.
