I was extremely disappointed with the care my father received from this ED. He presented with symptoms consistent with acute coronary syndrome and supposedly a chest pain workup was initiated. He was left in the waiting room for 2 hours without an initial EKG, which is completely outside of the standard of care. It took me calling to complain to the staff that this was unacceptable for it to actually happen. Needless to say, care received here was substandard. I’ve worked in several different emergency departments and completely understand the staffing and bed hold situations, but that doesn’t excuse this kind of care. Something needs to be done before this kind of practice lead to deaths that could have otherwise been avoided. Unacceptable.

Waited 6 hours in the emergency room not very many people were there the nurse came in and told us one diagnosis come to find out it was a totally different one and was admitted 3 hours later. Fish that was a better place to go closer by

I had a wonderful experience at Wilson Smith Outpatient Center at Novant Rowan.

Tonight was a fast in and out for a Senior's broken toe. In 7, out 830. The nurse and nurse prat. were phenomenal tonight

Do not go here for anything! My father was having a stroke and they took his blood and put him back in the waiting room!!! If it was not for my wife continuously being rude it would have been much worse! They finally took him back to the ER! Several people left while I was in the waiting room taking their loved ones to Charlotte. While I was in the ER with my father I observed many staff members just chatting never leaving I would guess the main station. Basically just hanging out and playing on their cell phones. I always give credit where credit is due the main doctor and I’m sorry I don’t remember his name and one male nurse are great! My dad checked himself out against the physicians advice because of this way things were handled. I don’t leave reviews…but this is life and death and this place needs help! They need a whole bed operating procedure.

My father with accelerated dementia has spent 3 weeks in and out of this hospital. Everyone has been amazing, and I wouldn't consider bringing him anywhere else. A huge thank you to the staff on the 4th floor in cardiac/telemetry and the Smith Vascular wing. Even Ellie at the door is extremely friendly and understanding what the families are going through, and remembers me when I come in. You are incredible, and my father is so lucky to have such amazing people helping us with this. Every day I spend there with you it makes me appreciate you more. Thank you so much

Dr. Mallico , Gretchen and Staff are Wonderful , they provide Information before and after Surgery. One of the best Doctors and Staff that I’ve ever worked with. Dr. Mallico is straight out with you and honest. I would Recommend them to anyone. The Surgery Team,Hospital Nurses and all involved were so great.

The nurses Are disrespectful and rude. My body was having sickle cells. They kept trying to rush me out when I was still in pain. They rude to my Father-in-lawThat was there for cancer

The doctor Dr Patel did not listen or take serious my medical conditions. He made me seem like and feel like a drug seeker. He also purposely lied to my moms face about a diagnosis that he said. He has horrible bedside manner.will never be returning to this hospital.

They turned my son who was having an allergic reaction to an antibiotic away, saying he had hand foot & mouth, we went to the ER because his lips and tongue were swelling up and he developed a blistery rash & hives. We took him somewhere else, where they said he absolutely was having an allergic reaction and to be thankful we got him to another place in time. This ER literally does not care!
