Have had 3 appointments via telephone with Darcy since the start of the pandemic. Everything was great. Darcy is very good and has good follow up. She isn't one to listen to BS and will cut to the chase.

Dr. Darcy Neilson has been my doctor since I was a kid, (I am now 37). She has also been my doctor with my second pregnancy. I cannot say enough about her. She has always been caring, informative, patient and supportive with all of my concerns. I could not ask for a better doctor to care for myself and my family. Not only is Darcy wonderful, her receptionist, Emma has gone above and beyond for me. I can't say enough about Darcy and her staff.

I have been with Darcy for 15 years, I think she is a great maternity doctor (although very black and white and not open to discussion) but as my regular GP I find her dismissive and condescending.

Darcy's has been my doctor since I was a toddler and I am now in my twenties. She has been very supportive through my mental health issues but disregards any other concerns I have. On my last visit she was more interested in talking about my parents and my brother (who all see other practitioners now) and unfortunately she still treats me like a child. When I call to make appointments her staff are rude. There is always a long wait (usually over 45 minutes) to see her. I understand health care is unpredictable but in an office with 2 patients rooms, visits should not take 45 minutes.

I have been to many doctors in my past. She is my favourite by far and such a great bedside manner.

Darcy is a very kind and caring doctor but her front staff aren't the friendliest. You can guarantee waiting at least 30 mins past your appointment time to see her on a good day and well over an hour on a not so good day, which is very frustrating but once Darcy is in the room you have her full attention.

I see that my comment regarding being fired in 2005 has also been removed. I was a patient for over 10 years and decided to try a midwife with my first pregnancy. I lived a 60 min drive over the Malahat and was supposed to come to the office instead of seeing a midwife 10 minutes from my home?
