List of Kidzcare Pediatrics Pc Sanford's Reviews
This place is ridiculous. I will be calling their corporate office. My daughter had an appointment and I was unaware that they were still requiring masks. I didn’t have one and they told me they wouldn’t give me one. I told her I would even pay for it and she said no. They are the rudest two women I’ve ever met. She said I could go across the street and get one. I did and my daughter was seen. At our next appt, I was prepared with a mask but the girl at the desk was still just incredibly rude and short. I had so much anxiety when I had to go check out because being around her is a miserable experience. I promise I’m going to make it my duty to get that girl either retrained or fired.
I had to take my newborn to a different pediatrician because this office is unacceptable, but I left this as my older kids doctor as really the only time they need to go for are check ups and when they’re sick. But…. good luck ever getting an appointment. They never have any staff when you call to make a sick appointment. They’re always telling you it’s two weeks out. How is my child supposed to get seen for being sick two weeks from now? I guess I’m supposed to predict when they are going to be ill so I can call ahead to make an appointment. Or maybe I should just call and schedule an appointment for every two weeks so if something comes up, we can actually get into see a doctor. Every time they’re sick I have to take them to urgent care and then urgent care gives me an attitude because they’re like don’t you ever take them to their pediatrician? Would not recommend this place to anybody at least not this office. The staff is not always friendly. I love the doctors but it’s not like you’ll ever see them!
My children have been seen at the Sanford Kidzcare for several years and we've seen many doctors there. We LOVE the current providers (Janagama & Hampton). They are very attentive and listen to my children as well as they do me. Their care is mindful and thorough, and we appreciate having such great pediatric professionals nearby. HOWEVER, in order to get to these amazing pediatricians, you have to jump through unwarranted hoops and submit to whatever assumed authority the front desk workers demonstrate. If you are not immediately cooperative, they try to talk over you or start conversing with one another in spanish, assuming you cannot understand them. We've tried to be patient, especially with covid throwing everything up in the air, but this is getting ridiculous. Every interaction with the front desk women turns into a power struggle. Why? I don't know. They are argumentative, presumptive, and authoritarian. They're usually pretty good about appointment reminders, if only to let you know you have to wear a mask or your appointment will be cancelled. Never mind the fact that they do not wear their masks "correctly" as they insist everyone else do who walks through the doors. At almost every appointment, we have walked into the building to be greeted by maskless or half-masked women. During one of those threatening appointment reminders, I reminded them they are not wearing their mask correctly, and if that's a rule they want to enforce that's fine, but everybody needs to follow it. Anna (I think that's her name, she calls everyone "mama") tried to deny it, talked over me when I gave specific examples, then when I asked for her name, she hung up on me. So I called right back and spoke to the office manager, who actually defended Anna's behavior, dismissing the unprofessionalism and saying masks weren't necessary when no one was around. The double-standard, power-hungry behavior of the front desk women has driven several families away. If it weren't for the great pediatricians, we would've left a long time ago. If you're reading reviews to decide if this is a good place, I encourage you to find another office. At least until Kidzcare hires friendlier front desk workers. Doctors have a solid five stars. If you want care from Hampton or Janagama and you have an ounce of responsible parental oversight, just be prepared to advocate for your children hardcore; know what your responsibilities are to the office, and stand up for your children and the medical attention they need.
The ladies at the front desk are so rude and unprofessional! I am switching my child as soon as possible. We used to go to kidzcare in Lillington and they were great. Their face mask policy is ridiculous. They canceled our appointment because we did not have a face mask. Every other facility that has a face mask requirement has them there if you do not have one. Instead they canceled my appointment and sent me a bill for cancelation! Every time I call to make an appointment the ladies at the front desk are rude and quickly try to get you off the phone. No compassion at all.
I usually have a decent experience, but my latest experience was TERRIBLE! My kids has been needing to see their doctor, but had to wait over a month to be seen, as there were no availability. On the day of the appointment, I saw on the doors that a face mask was needed in order to be seen, (NO ONE told me this prior) so I politely asked the woman at the front desk for a mask for me and my two teenagers. She told me that I couldn’t get a mask, but my kids could, and if I don’t have a mask, I need to reschedule. I told her that I couldn’t reschedule because it took a month to get this appointment and I’d already moved my schedule around so my kids could be seen. The woman said, Sorry we do not provide parents with face masks. I said, okay, may I speak to the person in charge or a manager. The lady said that the manager was on leave, but she called another person up front who told me that they tell parents in advance that kids cannot be seen unless the parents have a mask. I said, no one told me this, and again asked for a mask. I even asked if I could buy one and the woman said, no, but she would give me five minutes to go get a mask. As I was leaving to go get a mask, the woman at the front desk told my two (teenage) kids that they had to reschedule and couldn’t be seen. I came back inside and asked why did I need to reschedule and she said, that I was late so I couldn’t be seen. I was not late, in fact, I checked in early! It was on the sign in sheet that I checked in two minutes early before my kids appointment time. The front desk worker said, well, I’m just going by what “they” told me. You have to reschedule. I said, why? I was early. I wasn’t late. She said, I don’t know. The second woman came out and told me to go ahead and get the mask, she would see them. I left to get the mask, but overall this was a very unprofessional and unpleasant experience.
RUN as far as you can away from this place. I live in Sanford but usually drive all the way to the lillington location because I have never once been treated well here. And yesterday while what I was told hurt pretty badly, at least the lady was honest. When she told me that a dr would turn me away if I did not have a mask on, (when my son hit his head and was throwing up and I was concerned about a head injury). I told her it seemed like she cared more about a mask than my kid. She responded with these exact words “Your right We do care more about a masks than your kid.” 😭
My mask broke and they refused to give me a mask. They had mask at the front desk buy still refused to give me a mask. I do not recommend this place.
The receptionist are rude ladies and do not care, doctors they so good at what they do.
Ladies upfront are very rude and do not care if you call with ur child sick and need an appointment soon , even if you're there with your child sick they do not care at all even thought they have plenty of doctors available... stay away of you're able.... Doctors on the other are very good to deal with...
Decent. Doctors are great. Front office staff is rude. They require masks but will not provide them. If you don’t have one, they will tell you to go to the store and buy one.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
