Dr. Maynor is a fine doctor but his nurse is incredibly rude and incompetent. She called me ugly and has hung up on me repeatedly. She failed to send in my prescriptions and lied about it. If Dr. Maynor replaces his nurse or properly trains the one he has I might consider returning.

Dr. Maynor is a fine doctor. His nurse is aggressive, brusque and rude. She has insulted me (she called me ugly) and she lies. I was very happy to have finally found a doctor I liked in Dr. Maynor and then utterly disappointed by the treatment I received from his nurse.

Dr. Maynor is a fine and capable doctor. The nurse who works at his front desk is extremely rude and insulting. She called me ugly and hung up on me repeatedly. She ignores my calls and lies. I am still waiting for their office to send in a prescription. I was happy when I first met Dr. Maynor but his front office nurse makes the experience miserable.

Staff and Dr Maynor respond and follow up promptly. He even called to explore a link with a doctor from 10 years ago to see if my current condition could be related in some way. He listens and does not try to hurry you out the door.

Dr Maynor is an excellent, extremely smart doctor. He diagnoses a medical issue accurately and quickly and follows up with expert treatment or, if necessary, referral to appropriate care professional. His patients are lucky to have him for a primary care physician. Excellent "bed side" manner also. Does not rush you.

I have been going to Dr. Maynor since he first came to Pinehurst 20+ years ago. I would not trade him for any other. He is easy to talk with, takes time to listen, and truly cares about your well being. He and his nurse Treva make a great team and I am greatful to both of them.
