Our family has had over 10 surgeries with doctor Leighton. His personality can be challenging at times. But once you get to know him, he is caring and always professional. He is without a doubt the best orthopedic surgeon I have been associated with. Coaching for ten years I have been exposed to many. He is the best around here and it would be hard to find one better elsewhere

He made me wait almost 2 hrs and walked in without even looking at me. He was completely dismissive and arrogant and did not listen at all. He told me it was MY FAULT that I am in pain because I am a "fool" and doing "foolish things", so this is what I get. (I go to the gym 4-5 times a week and only do upper body and core so IDK what he's even talking about) I am a registered nurse so I would never throw anyone under the bus unless they deserved it, and HE DESERVES IT. DO NOT GO SEE HIM unless you want to be made to feel like SH*T and enjoy being demeaned and talked to like an idiot. Staff was nice. God bless their hearts for having to deal with someone like him.

Dr. Leigjton has performed carpal tunnel surgery on me and my daughter, knee replacement on mom, shoulder on my uncle and we will continue to recommend him to anyone. Very thorough assessments - looks at the patient as a whole - not a part oin assembly line surgeries. He recognized issues with my mom that her PCP did not. Extremely grateful to him and his excellent care.

After waiting for one hr in the room it became obvious that he was to busy for another patient so after the 5min visit i made the comment to his grouchy nurse that if i had to wait an hr they should leave me in the waiting room with the tv atleast she then informed me that the doctor made ten times my salary and was to busy for my concerns i think she needs a different job and she should know that without patients they would be out of a job. Sincerely still hurting
