List of Laurie Lemauviel's Reviews
Either does not care or does not know. My wife had terminal cancer and was seeing a hospice pain doctor. Dr. Lamauviel didn't like what the hospice doctor was prescribing for her. She thought it was too much pain medicine. In response, she sent letters to all of my wife's doctors AND the hospital saying that my wife was drug seeking. Also, my wife was having mini-strokes. Dr. Lamauviel kept saying there was no suck thing as a mini-stroke and so would not address them. After I showed her discharge papers from the ER with a diagnosis of TIA ( mini-stroke), Dr. Lamauviel discharged her as a patient. Her office routinely set up follow up appointments at her request. When we arrived for the follow up appointment, no one had any idea why she was there. Setting up follow ups was a part of their practice even though there was no need for an appointment. I could go on and on about the problems with Dr. Lamauviel but there is only so much space here!
I have been a patient of Dr. LeMauviel since 2013 after my wonderful physician retired. Initially, she took the time to listen and follow through with my concerns; however, the last two years have been a different story!! First, she was angry with me because I did not see her while my Mother’s health was declining and she subsequently died. Secondly, she did not follow through on things she said she would do — e.g. calling in medications for new conditions we discussed. Thirdly, forgetting the reason I had an appointment with her. She diagnosed a cancer in my eyebrow and told me when to return to have it removed. When I returned, she had obviously not reviewed my chart and ask why I was seeing her. She had no recollection of my “cancer.” After I explained, she looked at my eyebrow and said the “cancer” was gone!!!! I told her it must be s miracle. I had several members of my family and friends look at my eyebrow — which I had examined repeatedly. No one saw anything!! Receiving a cancer diagnosis is extremely upsetting-/ waiting to have it removed and biopsied is very stressful To have my doctor blow it off with no explanation, was unimaginable. I will write more later. If you are looking for a physician, pass LeMauviel and find another physician!!
a wonderful intelligent caring doctor that I am lucky to have as my primary care physician. totally exceeds expectations. I am 70 so have had many doctors over the years. she is the best.she spends a lot of time with each patient so she tends to run late - just build your schedule around that fact (and bring something good to read). she is worth the wait.
I have been a patient for several months after my Dr. reitred. She is wonderful, efficient, kind and one of the best physicians I have ever visited. I have diabetes, HBP and other related problems. She is understanding and will discuss your medical condition with ease. I love her...if other physicians were this great... we would be in great health.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
