I had the very best care EVER by the Day Surgery staff today. The Doctor who performed my procedure, the nurses, the nurse Anasasis, everyone I came in contact with was kind, professional, and thorough. I’ve never had such wonderful people take care of me. It was fast and I was home by 845am. I am in awe. I have been to Vidant North, and your ER and let me say, the nurses are rude and uncaring. I would refer your same day surgery to my Mother. That’s how awesome my experience was. Thank you to the nurses and the doctor that choose to work that early morning shift and are so happy to be Healthcare HEROs!!!!!’❤️ It’s obvious this team loves what they do!

I wish they shut this hospital down. They don't care about people.

The ER doctor was very kind and knew his stuff. However, they are either woefully understaffed or they don't take patient care as effectively as they should. Came in via ambulance with severe chest pain, non stop dry heaves and hadn't eaten for 48 hrs. I saw no less than 4 nurses and had no call bell left close enough to me should I suffer worse issues or need to use the rest room. They left me alone for HOURS in a very uncomfortable room. Freezing from low grade fever and not one nurse covered me up with a warm blanket. When I wanted to leave after more than 6 hours one nurse had a verbal war with my husband! I'm a young senior who has been to many hospitals with family or for self in the past. This one rates the lowest.

I was there with a temperature of 107 they put me in a small room with other people withering around coughing with no mask on no protecttion in this room

I went there yesterday because I needed a blood patch from a lumbar puncture from a different hospital. The staff was amazing. The Dr who did the blood patch was down to earth amazing woman. I'm 100 percent better but 100 percent better than I was. Thank you all!

The worse hospital I have ever been to. I promise you it would not be surprising that they let you die

I went to the emergency room today and after sitting there for hours a Nurse Missy came into the waiting area and had a rude tone. She proceeded to speak to me in loudly in the waiting area in front of other people complaining about being understaffed. I'm not the person that can be spoken to any kind of way and take it. She then proceeded to speak loudly from across the room to an elderly lady that only wanted to ask her a question. I decided it was time for me to leave . Someone has complained about this nurse to me before and you can best believe she will be reported this time.

Currently in the ER with extreme cramping , spotting & back pain at 19 weeks pregnant they are refusing to take me to labor & delivery bc I’m not 20 weeks yet !!! 9 DAYS AWAY !! Told me it’s a 3 hour wait... this is literally life & death . 2018 I had a miscarriage at 17 weeks after complaining of the same symptoms & waiting 2 hours !

This place is absolutely slow and not sanitary. It’s kids in here with fevers ear aches and more and the wait is 5hrs. This is absurd. There is no logical reason for any child to wait 5hrs regardless of what the issue is. Go to Pitt because Tarboro is horrible. Not to mention someone here had Covid in the waiting area and NO ONE has cleaned anything since I been here. TORRIBLEEE

I suggest if you need any medical attention pls go to Pitt Hospital. Initially I was seen by a male nurse yesterday with loads of tattoos who was very rude. Had a temperature of 101.3 and I wasn’t offered any fever reducer… Didn’t even check my temp before discharge.
