Dr. Lance is an amazing doctor. He is kind, caring, and compassionate. He takes the time needed to answer all of your questions and includes you in the treatment process. We are fortunate to have him in our community. I have recommended him to many friends and colleagues. Highly recommended!!!

I’ve referred many people to Dr. Lance. He is, by far, one of the most qualified physicians I’ve encountered and been treated by, and that’s among dozens in various cities. Dr. Lance’s skill set isn’t the only thing that sets him apart. His compassion for each of his patients sets him above the rest, and if I have to wait a few minutes, it’s because he’s spending quality time with each of his patients, ensuring they leave his office feeling that they, as people (not as conditions), have been treated. How fortunate the small communities of Lexington and Thomasville are to have someone of his caliber!

Many years ago, I had Cdiff and was referred to Dr. Lance who treated me-I was very young and didn't realize how serious this situation is, but felt that Dr. Lance saved my life.....I then had him do two colonoscopies over the years since I trust him so much.......recently I was in the ER for another serious matter and who walked in to perform a procedure but Dr. Lance! I knew then that I was in good hands. I will choose Dr. Lance for any surgery I ever need that is within his skill set! Excellent doctor!

Dr Lance is a professional and caring surgeon. Excellent bedside manner. He is the only Doctor I’ll ever use if I need surgery again.

Great personality, explains things well in language easily understood. Takes his time with you so you know exactly what's going on with you. Would highly recommend him to everyone.

Dr. Lance is renowned in this area. On any given day when he is in office, the influx of patients walking through the door testifies to this. And even though there are times when he has to 'play catch up' because he is sought after by so many, he refuses to shortchange them, making sure each patient feels that he/she is his primary concern. Ultimately, Dr. Lance manages a demanding schedule while still extending courtesy and compassion (how many other surgeons offer to pray with their patients?). If you set aside his bedside manner, Dr. Lance's precision-across the board-is unparalleled. It is that attention to detail that can make the difference between life and death; it certainly did for me.

Dr. Lance is one of the best in his field, and it is no secret. He is highly sought after, but somehow he manages to balance a high patient load and do so with precision, professionalism, and compassion.

Dr. Lance is awesome. He keeps it very real and has a good balance between casual and professional. He comes across as a very confident and competent surgeon and has the skills to back it up. When I needed my gallbladder removed, I was amazed at the number of nurses who told me I should see Dr. Lance and the number of other random people who also recommended him. He did my surgery and now I'm one of the people going around and telling people that "yep, he's great."

Dr. Lance did my gallbladder surgery removal. He was very down to earth, which I appreciated. He talk to me like I was a human, if I had any questions he answered them it was willing to offer a helping hand. He made me feel comfortable before my surgery coming to pray with me. The surgery went well. During my post op, he walked me through anything I should be experiencing let me know what was right and what was wrong and what to expect going on for the next two months. I felt like he spent a lot of time with me just trying to answer my questions and I really appreciated that. It may be a drive to go out to Thomasville to have him as your doctor but I was very impressed with the overall process from start to finish.
