I saw Dr. Gabriel Lopez for the first time on 10621. There will NOT be a repeat visit. I had to find a new primary care doctor as my long time doctor retired last month. I decided to give Dt. Lopez a try. Bad mistake. He is a jerk. He didnt write a prescription for one of my long term medications pain med and I totally understood his decision and did not have an issue with it. I realize that pain meds are a slippery slope for doctors. He did write a script for my other medications. As I was at the checkout window I saw him go into a nearby room labeled Lab Room where there was a female staff member. He then proceeded to talk about me to this female. I could hear every word he said. It was very hurtful and uncalled for. I was totally respectful towards him and there was no discord surrounding my visit. Perhaps Dt. Lopez needs to wait for his patients to leave the office before he verbally disrespects them

Little bit of a wait...yes I get there are emergencies but every appointment...just frustrating as heck...girl at front desk needs to learn empathy...she does not know meaning of respect either...
