Raleigh Radiology's Online Review Report Card

I have been suffering with severe back pain and sciatica for the past 10 years, but this most recent bout has been an utter nightmare. I attempted to get into a "normal" MRI machine at a hospital nearer to me and discovered that I am, in fact, incredibly claustrophobic. I had THE panic attack of all panic attacks and was unable to continue and move forward with the MRI. I'm not one with many phobias, but this was INTENSE and caused a visceral reaction I hadn't anticipated.So I went home and did some research and found that my insurance covered Raleigh Radiology, which boasted a wide bore MRI machine (which if you don't know, is a larger "feet first" machine). So I made my appointment, got a valium from my doctor and in I went.From the moment I walked in the door I felt comfortable. They have such a nice facility and really incredible staff. I wish I had gotten her name, but the kind woman that brought me back to the machine was incredibly comforting, kind and had a good sense of humor. We made our way back to the machine and the second I walked in the room, the young lady and the Tech named Roberto set out to make sure I was as comfortable as possible. They allowed me to pick a genre of music to listen to and let me tell you, that made all the difference. Every few minutes Roberto would ask if I was doing okay or needed anything. I mean the entire experience was such a stark contrast to my first MRI attempt.I can not recommend them more. They have helped assuage my fear of MRI's (but pretty much specifically with them, I don't think I could go anywhere else).10/10 - 5 Stars - and if any of the Raleigh Radiology management are reading this, you have incredible staff at this Wake Forest location. They deserve a raise or a bonus and a high five for a job well done. I will continue to speak praises of your business purely because of the incredible staff you have.THANK YOU!!!!

Can’t say enough about this facility, staff, technician- Shenika, and medical records staff. From the moment I checked in at the front desk until a phone call I made to request records, I was treated with patience, friendliness and courtesy. I was treated as if I was valued to be a patient. Results of my tests were sent to my doctor within hours! So comforting not to have to wait for days to receive the results. I highly recommend Wake Forest location of Raleigh Radiology.

Everyone that I met on my visit was so nice! As nervous as I was, Marisol made me feel better by letting me know what was happening during my procedure; and I was done in 5-10 minutes! Quick procedure, and friendly employees! Would highly recommend!
