Worst hospital in waxhaw nc I been going there a lot for my epilepsy and they keep saying on my paper that I’m just going crazy I will never go back there ever again even when the eeg came back normal was because they gave me so much medicine before they did anything never going back they need to train them for people with epilepsy and don’t treat them like there are crazy

From check in with Lauren to Xrays by Amanda and Chris I felt completely taken care of.

I went here last week for severe chest pains. Some of my labs were off so they did some scans and a covid test. The scans came back normal so they discharged me. Made me just walk out holding my chest and stand outside in the heat waiting for my ride. Here it is 8 days later and I still dont have my results. Ive called and just get the run around and useless phone numbers to call. I have 3 kids and a disabled mother I need to care for. I need my results

Blatant disregard to patients in severe pain who are sitting in waiting room area. Staff was non existent and non responsive when in need. Based on today’s visit would not recommend.

Keep driving to another emergency room. You won’t regret it

DO NOT GO HERE. Brought my 23 month old son in for a 103 fever lethargic vomiting. Dr barely looked at him told me fever is actually “a good thing his body is fighting it off you shouldn’t treat the fever to reduce it but to treat the symptoms.” Was told Bloodwork wasn’t necessary. Was told he would be monitored to make sure he would drink and take some Meds. Dr never showed his face Again and 15 minutes later we are being handed discharge papers when my toddler isnt moving out of the bed and has a fever still and hasn’t drank. Go home for an hour and his fever is spiking again. I threw him in the car to rush him to his dr office and he has a febrile seizure on the way. Ambulance could only take him back to that same dr and same er who did nothing but have an attitude and how it was viral and how i refused service because he was the only dr and i didn’t want him near my son. If you think I’m paying for either visit you guys have lost your minds.

Wait times when calling radiology department are excessive. After 10mins I had too hang up.

The tech was so compassionate about my back pain issues. The facility was outstanding. It will be my goto radiology facility in the future.

UPDATE Called the number that they suggested I call and no one can help me..... SHOCKER Please do not come to this hospital unless you want to die or enjoy being treated like garbage. I will also be leaving reviews every day that this goes un resolved.Horrible experience. I went back in 2016 I was there for a whole 30 minutes 5 of which I actually spoke to the Dr. He did not diagnose my situation he did not help my situation he treated me as if I did not belong there. Now they are trying to send a 300.00 bill to collections..... I dont think so. Healthcare is a RIGHT not a privilege and I absolutely refuse to pay for such HORRIBLE service. I had to go see my primary to actually get help. I paid that bill. I will dispute this and I will also be filing a formal complaint with the better business bureau. This ER clearly has a 3 rating for a reason. Their website where they claim to be a top rated ER is absolutely counterfeit reviews. I have been dealing with this situation for years. I have called and asked to speak with a manager and have not received any response back then I get a collection call YEARS later................. Grimy and foul............. Its a shame that this is the healthcare we have in America costing more than most countries and yet the treatment is awful.UPDATEI think it is part of their job description to be rude. Lauren who answers the phone likes to tell people they need to calm down. The head nurse Tony does not apologize for his rude staff nor does her want to solidify this situation. I will be taking this to social media and protesting this hospital get better staff I am also filing formal complaints at the medical labor board.
