Dr. Amanda LaBenne permanently disfigured my arm when she inserted my birth control implant. As soon as I noticed my arm start to change shape, I had it removed. They informed me that the implant was way too deep and struggled to even locate the implant in my arm. I would highly recommend everyone look elsewhere for an OB/GYN.

Dr. LaBenne saw me for a total of maybe 15 minutes in the three visits I saw her. Seeing a student each time you go to see your doctor is not professional. She was not very friendly and left the practice, and her patients hanging. No one told me that she was leaving, I found out when I tried to make a follow up. I would not recommend her and honestly will not follow up with anyone in this department at Wilmington Health. It’s a shame how patients are made to feel like a number.

I went into labor before my planned c-section and met Dr LaBenne in the throes of intense contractions. Her energy was calming and comforting and I had full faith in her immediately, which is fortunate because I had a complication during the csection and I didn’t even know until it was well resolved. She’s been kind, thorough, and knowledgeable at my follow up appointments as well. Couldn’t recommend her more.

Dr. Labenne is always so kind and friendly. She really does care about her patients even if you only see her a few times a year. She always gives me the opportunity to ask questions and is willing to explain things when needed.

Dr. LaBenne listened to all my concerns and answered all my questions without rushing. Definitely one of the best doctors at Wilmington health.sad to see her go but wish her the best!

Dr LaBenne is completely professional yet made me feel comfortable about my appointment. GYN issues are never easy so I appreciate her sincerity, professionalism, and genuine attention towardsme as a patient. It is hard to find a Doctor that makes you feel comfortable about going to a doctor. Dr LaBenne is that 1 in a thousand doctor that made hard decisions easier to deal with and mafde me feel comfortable thatbthings would indeed go smoothly
