I moved to the Wilmington North Carolina area 3 years ago. I went to several doctors and several different practices before finally finding what I think is the best doctor in the area. If you want a doctor who truly cares and is very personable then I can 100% guarantee you need to give Dr Ammons a try you will not regret it.

Alexis has been my PCP and a colleague for several years. She has a vast array of experience and is extremely knowledgeable and personable. She spends time with her patients and explains things well. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a primary care in the area

Alexis Ammons DNP FNP is an excellent practitioner I established my elderly mother with her and she did a very concise and comprehensive history and physical. She made a plan of care ordered appropriate diagnostic tests and referrals. She is very skilled and caring. Her staff is excellent and caring. I would highly recommend her for any healthcare needs. The staff keeps you well informed of lab results medications treatments and referrals if needed.

My wife went here last week with our child and a new staff member was texting while checking her vitals Texting She said she had just started working there and was new to the area . Well put your phone away and not text anyone while taking blood pressure and pulse What is wrong with you ? Was it student training ? Ugh we are all changing to a different practice .
