List of Daniel L Delo's Reviews
Took away my diagnosis of psoriatic arthritis from my other rheum that I lost due to moving here. So now I can’t get any medication or treatment since I moved in August 2021. It was such a waste of time and money. Don't bother going there especially if u have Seronegative RA or PSA. I hope to find a rheumatologist here that will let me try a medication. I can’t work due to the joint tendon and nerve pain and can’t find help since I moved to Wilmington.
Dr. DeLo is very kind and patient. He's a good doctor with a wealth of knowledge and compassion.
He was distracted, and had not reviewed my records from previous rheumatologist prior to my first appointment Apparently has a policy of not speaking w/patients without a scheduled appointment for a phone call. His distraction (or lack of interest in my case) was apparent with each visit I had with him.
Always willing to supply needed help with your condition.
Too quick to dismiss my symptoms to fibromyalgia. Bloodwork came back with various elevated levels and those were dismissed as well. I will follow up with another doctor.
I noticed that Dr. Delo has only 2 stars. The folks who rated him badly must have seen a different Dr. Delo than the gentleman I have been seeing. He treats patients as whole persons not as a body part. It is quite easy to communicate with him. I feel he truly cares for me as another human being. I strongly recommend him. By the way, I have seen him 6 or 7 times
My relationship with Dr. Delo has been excellent as you can see from my survey. However it has been greatly affected by his medical assistant. I called for an appointment and was told I do not need a doctor, I need a psychiatrist. To which I responded, I do have a psychiatrist. This has put me in a position where I am not comfortable calling the doctors office, because I know I will get a negative response to my queries, or for that matter no response at all. I have lupus.
Waited two hours to see him and were the only patients! The it took him 10 minutes to completely dismiss me. I'm going to find a second opinion elsewhere.
good doctor would recommend
My 1st visit to Dr. Delo, he heard everything I had to coplain about and listened patiently. He examined me and felt I had fibromyalgia. This is what I had wondered and felt eased to finally find out why I wasn't getting better after physical therapy and very painful (literally in tears) neck adjustments from the chiropractor (whom I actually think is good) but not for fibromyalgia. When I told my physical therapist that I had seen Dr Delo earlier that day and he daignosed me with fibromyalgia, we sat and did a questionaire on fibrmyalgia and my score was 26! Which showed most probable to be fibromyalgia. Next visit, I returned to follow-up on blood work he had ordered and he also did all my trigger points which caused me to be in tears, and my bloodwork ruled out other possibilities. My opinion of this man is he is patient, encouraging and very intelligent but not arrogant about it. I would definitely recommend him to anyone. He's a nice doctor! He told me not to sit around as it would only cause it to get worse and try to be active, like swimming or walking or yoga. He totally understands when I told him after I went to the gym and did yoga and swam, I was okay while I did it but afterwards my body ached like a little old lady and I'm only 52. He said fibromyalgia causes your body to feel worse than the average person and that's part of the diease. He helps confirm what I'm going through is not in my head and that I'm not alone.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
