I was in an accident in April of this year where our Jeep rolled 3x. My 8 yo was in the vehicle and transported to the ER with me via ambulance, but he was fine due to being in a high back booster still. I was coherent enough to respond and push my way out of the Jeep on my own. Without any parental consent (my husband arrived about 5 mins after we did), they admitted both of us to the ER. He had minor scrapes on his hand that he was able to clean by washing his hands in the bathroom. This group is now charging us $442 for literally putting $0.13 ointment on his hand!! This is absurd! No one goes to the ER unless truly warranted. A car accident is bad enough! It is an insult for groups like this to be able to try to rip people off like this!!
