List of The Davis Community's Reviews
The CNA to resident ratio is amazing!!
Impossible to get an answer to even basic questions. Mother-in-law started in Davis rehab (1 month), then moved to Davis LTC after a meeting where we were told there was no chance of her getting better, she would only get worse. Requested to speak to doctor multiple times and received a bunch of useless emails. 5 days after we cleared her apartment and sold all her stuff they tell us she's going to assisted living where she will need bedroom and living room furniture (literally 5 days)!! After refusing to move her without talking to the doctor, we had a meeting - told she had a stroke. No one had told us this. We've had a POA in place for 5 years. I made sure they had a copy of it as soon as she entered the facility. Now can't get paperwork filled out for an insurance rider. They will gladly take my money, but won't help me get anything back. Don't just avoid - run away from this place.

I have found the staff at the Davis community some of the most sincere, honest and compassionate people I have ever met. The administration is remarkably in tune with their mission and I believe walk the talk every day.
I have had such a great experience working with the staff at The Davis Community. Charles Long, specifically, has been very easy to communicate with and the entire Marketing team is delightful! Definitely interested in visiting soon!
The facility is lovely and the food is pretty good. PT folks are very capable. The attending physician Dr. Surak is TOP NOTCH, caring, compassionate with great communication skills. However, we were extremely disappointed in the case manager K. She was surly, unrespondive, did not provide any useful information about the patient's status, and did very little coordination when the patient was discharged at the family's request.
On frequent visits I could find no help on the hall. Absolutely not one caregiver to converse with! Under staffed, perhaps, but for the extreme cost, you would expect more access to staff....
Once your loved one has died they throw their belongings to the curb like trash, not being careful and breaking pictures. This loved one was there for years and this is how it ends, so sad and disrespectful! I would not recommend this place.
Great place for having a dog. Plenty of green areas to walk them.
Workers come visit even on off days they are amazing anyone that didn’t like it as a patient obviously didn’t like it because they weren’t home but the staff is amazing and handle what’s going on great.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
