Carolinas Fertility Institute - Winston Salem's Online Review Report Card

Researched the facility and read many positive remarks. Called to schedule an initial consultation and never made it past that. Receptionist while not rude kept stating I needed gyn records which I do not have other than copies of recent tests. Explained my reason for consultation is somewhat unconventional. Was told records needed (which again I do not have).At the end I thanked the receptionist and hung up. Will not be pursuing further attempts to contact this faculty.

Overall great experience. Word to the wise for any men going to collect a sample at the facility. The collection room walls are really thin and appear to be next to an office. Was kinda hard to concentrate when the ladies next door are discussing if I'm related to Daniel Boone.

Had a procedure done there, staff and Dr was nice and reassuring but felt very uncomfortable about the whole experience didn't get discharge instructions, thankfully I'm a procedure nurse myself and know the do's and don't after this kind of procedure. Just felt out of place to be completely honest.

We just had our ivf baby girl on June 28th 2021! We had a great experience and loved DR.Y!

The first appointment with Dr. Yalcinkaya was excellent! It has been the best my wife and I have experienced since beginning our journey of having children. He was understanding, thorough, and patient; not to mention his nursing staff. Everyone was very nice. When we left, we were very hopeful! You cannot go wrong with scheduling an appointment with him. - Thank you Dr. Yalcinkaya!

I cannot say enough about how wonderful Dr. Yalcinkaya and his team are. We have been going to CFI since 2018. Not only was our experience successful (we have one little boy and another baby on the way), but it is very evident that this practice uses the best, most up-to-date technology and equipment available. Dr. Y truly cares for his patients, individualizes treatment, and does whatever it takes to provide the best chance to reach your family goals.

We transferred to CFI after a bad experience at a large clinic in Charlotte. I highly recommend CFI! I saw my Doctor at every single appointment. (At our previous clinic, I only saw the nurses.) We chose CFI because of their high success rate with IVF patients. They have an incredible embryology lab and they do a great job of communicating with you throughout the IVF process. They even send you pictures of your embryos every night while they are growing. If you have questions or concerns, you can contact your doctor directly (even after hours!) In addition, the billing department worked smoothly with our insurance. There were no big surprise bills or obscure fees like some other clinics. Everything is very professional and straight-forward. After over 2 years of trying unsuccessfully with other providers, we got pregnant at CFI after our first round of IVF!

I love Dr. Mesen and Lori. They are very professional and knowledgeable. They answered all of my questions and didn't make me feel like a bother. The Embrologist Carmen is amazing and took her time with me. She didn't make me feel rushed.They worked with me and my insurance. I don't have a bad thing to say about this clinic.

When you walk into the Winston Salem office the first thing you will notice is the office ambiance is more like a classy spa. The upscale luxurious feel makes you more at ease and comfortable for any fertility procedures you may have. I personally have worked with Dr. Yalcinkaya here. He is ranked as one of the best fertility doctors in the US and is extremely knowledgeable. I had been to a couple other facilities in the US before meeting with Dr. Yalcinkaya. In my opinion some doctors I had met with were like talking to a cardboard box- very clinical and sterile. Dr. Yalcinkaya is very warm and caring and fully answers all your questions. I had an egg retrieval and embryo transfer done here and both Erin and Jen were amazing nurses. I wish everyone the best of luck with their fertility journey and highly recommend Dr. Yalcinkaya and his team if you need science to help facility the process.
