William F. Mcguirt's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Mcguirt was referred by a friend to help my teenage son with his breathing in between surgeries for a gunshot wound to the face. He goes above and beyond and has accommodated us for several visits trying to find the solution that worked best. Could not recommend more highly.

After years of living miserably with sinus problems and breathing issues as a result of an undiagnosed deviated septum I finally decided to seek professional diagnosis and opinion. After some digging around on the internet I decided to book an appointment with Dr. McGuirt based off of his accolades and many years experience in the field. From my initial consultation I knew that I had made the right choice in choosing this doctor. He’s extremely knowledgeable and was easily able to break down the specifics of my problems into a dialogue that I understood. He knew exactly what my issue was with the information that I communicated. He performed a septoplasty/inferior turbinate reduction on me fairly soon there after meeting with him for the first time. What a huge difference these procedures have made! I’m honestly over the moon with the results. He and his staff were there and patient with me when I had questions during and throughout my recovery phase and everything! Such a fantastic experience with Dr. McGuirt and his staff over at Piedmont ENT. This man is a true specialist and genuinely cares for the well being of his patients. My search for a quality ENT didn’t take long at all. It started and ended with Dr. McGuirt.

Best doctor

Dr. McGuirt is not a very knowledgeable. My daughter went in with recessed ear drum and he acted like it was nothing. He performed a procedure on her that had already been done back in 2009 by an other doctor. My daughter's ear was bleeding and they would not even see her. I was told my the office staff that it was not a BIG DEAL. He did not even know how to fix what was going on with her ear. After my daughter had lost 20% of her hearing in both her ears. I decided to seek a second opinion.

We are so pleased with the the care our children have received from Dr McGuirt and Pam. They are proactive and caring. They listen and really try to help your child feel better!

Dr McGuirt is very personable and knowledgeable. He takes the needed time with you and makes sure that you understand his diagnosis. He discussed possible causes for my daughter's symptoms, ranking them from least to most likely. His staff were very helpful, kind, and involved. He went above and beyond with my daughter, allowing her to return to the office for a procedure even though it was 5pm on a Friday! It is rare to find a doctor this dedicated, accessible, and skilled.

I am the mother of a special needs child who has been a patient of Dr. Will McGuirt since he was about 4 years old. Dr. McGuirt has been at all times the most amazing, knowledgeable, helpful, caring, concerned and gifted doctor we have encountered. (On par is Dr. Argenta & Dr. Shashi) My son suffers from a number of things and I am so grateful to the time McGuirt gives to his care. My sons ENT health has been so much better under his care.

excellent MD. Has been following my grandsons since infancy and they are now 9 and 11. He has performed surgeries and placed tubes in their ears as needed. Has Called my home on weekends to see how they are doing and is very concerned with his patients and provides outstanding followup care. He is tops in my rating of doctors!!!!
