Jill Steinle Md's Online Review Report Card

Dr Jill Steine called a child told me good luck finding any Dr in state of north Dakota to any female surgery on me and me to go minasota . And I said I can't afford that she well that your problem when I answer my periods because I have them every two weeks she that normal and you want is surgery. I would not recommend her to anyone because i don't want anyone else to have problem like I did

She is a wonderful doctor who has taken care of two of my pregnancies. Very thorough, knowledgeable, safe, professional and realistic. She’s always taken every issue that has arisen, big or small, seriously. I saw a different OB for a little bit (due to distance, we live far from Bismarck). But returned to Dr. Steinle and immediately felt so much better to be back with someone I am familiar with and trust. She’s a great women’s health doctor.

Dr. Steinle was our OB through our first pregnancy. We had tons of questions at every visit, and she patiently took the time to answer all of them. For things that weren't common practice here, she always researched and brought answers and resources to our next appointment. We had a completely uncomplicated pregnancy, but I felt like she still invested a lot of time and energy in my care. Her nurse was wonderful, and the PAs we saw when she wasn't available were great. Our only complaint was that the topic of induction came up at around 36 weeks, and we started to feel pressured to consider it beginning at 38 weeks (based on my Bishop score, I was about 2cm dilated) . When we reached 40 weeks, we were definitely encouraged to consider it, and they wanted an ultrasound at 40 weeks and 3 days to do a biophysical profile and make sure everything looked fine. Since most places don't do a BPP until 41 weeks or insist on an induction until closer to 42, we ended up with a lot of anxiety our last few weeks. Ultimately, Dr. Steinle respected our preference to avoid an induction if possible up to 41 weeks, and tried to compromise and make a plan that all of us were comfortable with, and I really appreciated that. My water broke at 41 weeks and I ended up on pitocin anyway, so it was kind of a moot point, but thought I would share our experience and Mid Dakota's general practices in case this is a concern for anyone else. Our postpartum care was also great, and I would definitely recommend Dr. Steinle.

She is very helpful and knowledgeable. She can answer any question that I have and will tell me if she does not know the answer.
