List of Proximal 50 Life Center's Reviews
We have been calling and leaving messages for sports acceleration for weeks with no return call. Come to find out they shut down the program and let all the staff go. But we didn’t learn that from them in a return to our voicemail. We had to find that out on our own by contacting one of the previous staff members. Their customer relations are absolute garbage and embarrassing for a business to treat customers this way. If your program is shut down, fix your website so people know. If you can’t figure out how to do that, return the damn voicemails. I will never recommend anyone to Proximal 50. In fact, I will strongly advocate for people to go somewhere else, anywhere else.
I see Tana for physical therapy and I can't say enough good things about her. She is very good at what she does and her bedside manner is second to none. I couldn't recommend her enough. She has exceeded my expectations
Amazing staff & very kind people.
Have been going to Proximal for a couple of years now. Really like how nice everything is, and how it is usually very quiet and easy to get on the equipment that I want. The one thing with some of the treadmills at the Divide Ave location, is sometimes when I am running, the treadmill will randomly stop without warning and then cycle through a restart which takes > 5 minutes. This throws off my run and I prefer not to switch machines. Just something that has happened in the past a few times and has been annoying. Dont think its happened before on a downtown treadmill, but I frequent the Divide location much more often then downtown. Otherwise I love coming to "prox"!
I joined Proximal late last summer, looking for a venue and expertise to help me get back in shape. With my extensive travel and busy schedule, I really needed a someone to help me to meet or exceed my goals. I decided to go with a personal trainer and have been working with Dusty. I couldn't be happier with Dusty, he is very knowledgeable and really zeros in on the best workout for you. The entire staff is friendly and helpful.
The nutritionist, Callie Stein has helped me tremendously in gaining muscle, with her advice and support. I have had 2 in person appointments and a virtual appointment with additional follow up via text. It has worked great for me since I do not live near Bismarck.
Nice, clean, spacious workout studio. The layout is a little weird. I took a spin class and there was only a speaker in the front and it was hard to hear the teacher. Good workout however. Also The workout room up stairs is very narrow and mirrors are poorly placed. The view is awesome when the sun isn't blinding your eyes. They need to pay attention to a few more details before I think about joining.
Purchased a piece of equipment from Proximal, a treadmill, and I have zero regrets. I’ve been to many gyms in Bismarck Mandan, but this treadmill is so freaking cool and it’s so quiet and it works extremely well. If you’re looking to add equipment in your house, I highly recommend going through Proximal 50!!!
Clean, friendly, organized and very comfortable place to work out.
This place has a great student rate for anyone in the area that is going to school. The facility is modern and clean, and the atmosphere is casual with low pressure to fit in or meet certain standards. A very "come as you are" kind of vibe. The group fitness instructors are excited to see you and the other participants are welcoming. Highly recommend!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
