We used to go to Dr. Scherr for many years but the last two years have been absolutely terrible. There is no follow through so you might as well not ask for anything from him. His nurse is 100 times worse and should not be a nurse at all( I am a nurse and can not believe she still has a job). Not only is she rude and degrading. She will refuse a refill request from our normal pharmacy and force use to drive to the opposite side of town to Heritage pharmacy where they cant even fill prescriptions correctly. Its appalling that Mid Dakota Clinic would allow their staff to treat patients so horribly. We do not deserve this. No one does. It is immoral to tell a patient they have to fill their prescriptions at a pharmacy other than their choosing. Something needs to be done about this. We will be looking at our options not only in physicians but in care overall.

Dr. Scherr is our family doctor. We had others in the past, but once we found this doctor, our search was over. He spends time listening to all our concerns and treats us respectfully. We are confident in his judgement and he has provided us with excellent care for many years. His staff are outstanding.

I went to him for suspected sinus infection in January 2010. He never did an exam. He just made a snide remark about my weight!! And then wrote out a prescription for an antibiotic and left. He spent about 3-4 minutes with me. He has the worst bedside manner!!! I wrote to the Mid Dakota administration, but never did receive an answer. My advice: Do NOT go to this quack of a doctor!!!!!

This Dr. perscribed unreasonable amounts of medicine and would not return our calls. The patient died and 4 other dr's wanted the bottle. Does that tell you something?
