Dr Bergstrom petformed a bleph on both eyes while only one required it! Convinced me while sedated going into surgery. Only one congenital drooping eyelid! Approximately 10 surgies later..to try and fix his mistake. Eye tears terribly most likely the rest of my life as have dealt with this for over 15 years. Very difficult as a farmer and outdoorsman!!

Dr Bergstrom performed eye correction surgery almost 20 years ago and until last year my vision was perfect with no problems or revisits. He is an excellent doctor with a great personality. He is very personable and knowledgeable. Last year due to age (50) I noticed my vision slipping and scheduled a visit and again got great service. I am now back to glasses but considering getting my eyes corrected ...

Go to a doc who is more confident in his/her abilities. Dr. Bergstrom said he wasn't comfortable performing LASIK on me, so I went to another provider for a second opinion and he was able to do a great job on LASIK no problem! Looking back now I'm glad he wasn't willing to, I wouldn't want to have someone operating on my eyes who isn't even confident in their own abilities!

Dr. Bergstrom stressed me out during my appointment. I went to see about getting LASIK surgery but his nervous energy made me feel uneasy. I was planning on getting it until I walked into that appointment, I wouldn't trust my eyes to him.

Dr. Bergstrom diagnosed what many others in the area could not. After doing a long exam, he explained thoroughly, and referred my son to the Mayo Clinic for surgery. All respect for his diagnostic skills, as we'll as his recognizing the need for a surgeon more experienced in treating the condition. Surgeon at Mayo concurred, and my son's vision is restored.
