I have NEVER had such a bad experience with any hospital.- Don’t bring your hearing aids to this hospital unless you are able to keep track of them yourself. They won’t pay to replace hearing aids that THEY lose.- Some staff do not care if a patient who could be continent is incontinent. When my grandfather asked for a urinal he was told you go in his brief.- The nurse to patient ratio is no good. It was usually a long wait between visits from nurses, which I found shocking for a hospital that is supposed to be considered a long term ICU.- The doctors rotate every 2 weeks. This makes it impossible for them to properly care for and get to know their patients. Some doctors were attentive, while other didn’t seem to care.- While my grandfather was under Vibra’s care he developed MRSA. We suspect it came from an invasive devise being pulled out and promptly being stuffed back in without care for germs. Doctors said that the infection had been taken care of, but we learned a couple weeks later that it had spread to many parts of his body. Ultimately, incompetent doctors are what we blame for his death. We’re only left to wonder how the infection wasn’t detected sooner when it was clear that he was struggling.I will say that my grandmother had good infections with a few caring CNAs. Almost all communication from Vibra came through a case worker that my grandma loved, who genuinely cared about my grandpa. But those were our only positive experiences.

my brother was transferred here from Sanford -a week later he was barely breathing and transferred back to Sanford-please dont send your loved ones there!

Having read some of the negative reviews I was very concerned about my father being transfered to Vibra.From what I have seen, the staff has been professional, kind, caring and the service top notch. His care hasn't been rushed like he was just a number. The Drs at Vibra are looking at my father as a patient and not a statistic / metric they need to obtain.We were never pushed to have to make hasty decisions on his care. Things have been explained clearly when we didn’t understand something.In my opinion, Vibra is a great place if you need long term care.

Terrible place. Had a nurse tell us they hate our mother when she isn't drugged. Won't allow us to transfer her, won't put a patient sitter in the room, have allowed her to be so unsupervised in the last 24 hours she's fallen 3 times.EditA year after my mother's horrible experience here my sister was in an accident and was comatose and considered brain dead. When I told her doctors I wanted to keep her on life support for a while longer they informed me she would have to be transferred to this horrible place for such long term care. My sister and I both said numerous times "I would rather die than end up in the care of these people". The thought of the horrible neglect she would be put through in their hands was the deciding factor to agree with her doctor's recommendation to end life support as no recovery compatible with life would occur. That's how bad this place is.

While visiting a friend who's residing at that hospital, I was deeply hurt and struck by the details of his stay. Mostly, a lack of charity and competence by nurses and doctors. Lights were threatened to be turned off. Doctors never say more than "hi and bye." Wrong medications were give, leading to patient passing out. Patient and family are treated with suspicion and reproach. I'm beyond upset to hear my friend is subject to what is harassment at best, abuse and neglect at worst. I question the hiring abilities of this facility. Charity and customer service must be valued assets and the hospital must strive to truly care for patients and not just appear to be like any other business dabbling in numbers.

At the moment of this review I'm in my sixth week of being cared for by Vibra Hospital. The staff here has been professional, kind, caring and the service here has been world-class.This week I celebrated my 50th birthday. A day that I thought I'd be lonely and depressed while I'm "stuck" here at the hospital. I was very mistaken. Throughout the entire day, with gifts, treats, songs, and fellowship, during their (very little) spare time what staff that could made it a point to brighten my spirits. I've watched them make similar efforts with other patients under their watchful care during my time here.Metaphorically speaking, they don't just lick your wounds, they also sooth your soul.I've developed new friendships while here and am going to miss these friends tremendously once I get to go home.This truly is a great place for your long term care needs!Steve NelsonElbow Lake, MN

Staff are caring and helpful, however, i think they are understaffed. Ive seen patients alarm lights go unanswered up to 30 minutes.
