Cares weren’t good

I had a family member in this hospital. The only reason Vibra deserves one star is because of the compassion of a handful of the staff. It seems as the, for most of the staff there, it is a chore to get up and answer a call light. I was up there to visit said family member and it took an hour and 45 minutes for someone to respond. When someone came in they were rude and condescending. I called up one morning to take my family member outside, they told me a staff member would have to accompany us, which I understand.However I was told they didnt gave time and were understaffed, which I understand. However I walked past the nurses station 3 times, once with my family member in his wheelchair and it was a challenge to get the staff to look up from their phones to tell us "maybe in a half hour or so". After waiting for nearly 3 hours for a staff member to accompany us we gave up. This family member had not been outside in over 2 months, which I explained to the charge nurse as well as the doctor.Upon transfer of this family member to another facility, nothing was sent with us for the doctor in the new facility to go off of as far as a list of medications, care plan, or any communications from the previous doctor. This resulted in a detrimental mix up of medications and withdrawal from some medications, as well as my family member experiencing an unneeded level of pain and overall misery. This family member also experienced a rash on his arms which was explained away as a allergic reaction to the detergent used by this facility, and continually got worse over the course of his time there. I am grateful to report that since he moved to a new facility his sores are nearly healed in less than a week. DO NOT SEND ANYONE HERE!

Nursing refuses to provide adequate nutrition to individuals with diatary restrictions. Phones in patient rooms work only occasionally making communicating with loved ones very difficult. Head nurse Tina refuses to provide phone number or email for director of the facility. Are they caring for patients or inmates?They are friendly for the most part.
