List of Duke City Primary Care In Albuquerque's Reviews
Incompetent in handling billing issues. Zero follow up, no returned phone calls. When I call a guy named Keith always disconnects me. Last conversation with Vanessa in mid to late April I was assured this would be taken care of but it wasn't. Updated 5/6/22 I'm told they are working on this.On 5/28/22 NOBODY has reached out!!!! Are they not embarrassed? I'll be reporting this business to the BBB. Week of 6/13 I called again, was directed to a supervisor named "Crystal". Once again my call was not returned. How the heck do they stay in business while ignoring customers and not returning phone calls??? Don't get it?
Had an appointment in early May cancelled because the doctor called out and rescheduled for middle of June. Received a call this morning cancelling my appointment again because the doctor called out and the earliest they can see me is now the End of July and at a different location. It is incredibly aggravating that Duke City Primary Care can cancel your appointment out of the blue and then have no good way for you to come in and see a doctor in a reasonable amount of time. That fact that this keeps happening and that they do not have a system set up to get people in who have been waiting after a sudden cancelation makes it appear that the patient is not their highest priority. Awful experience with this primary care and I haven't even been there yet.
Just another low-quality NM medical office that wants your money for the littlest effort. No physicians on staff at least at the office I tried. The left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing, so if you have to use them, plan to make follow-up calls for everything, including your blood tests, etc. which they send you to another facility to get. (Yeah, your time is meaningless in their goal to take in as much cash as possible.)Expect to be treated like a second class citizen.
This place is so incredibly insensitive to patients. The overall rude staff, rude doctors is unbearable. If you’re looking for a new primary or urgent care don’t bother looking here. They will never provide any quality care at duke city in los Lunas. I cannot believe how we’ve been treated so horrible by the staff and doctor. All they want is money. Duke city does not care about you as a patient. Don’t bother signing up for health care because it’s all a scam for the money hungry company. They have absolutely no compassion for patients. 👎🏼
Never have I had an experience like this at medical facility. Dr. D did not care about quality of life in her patients. I strongly advise not to see her for care. She was very upset to have a patient advocate in the patients visit. Very unprofessional and horrible bedside manner.
My experiences here have been above and beyond anything I would have ever expected! I've been coming to this practice for just about a year after having transferred across the country from the Atlanta, GA area.My husband and I both see Christie Domme, and let me tell you- fellow humans just don't get any kinder than her! She is intelligent, generous with her time in listening to you and your needs, patient and kind, downright friendly and just an all around great human being!Vince and I are so grateful for her and all that she does to keep us up to date in our yearly exams and our in between visits.Thank you Miss Christie! YOU ARE THE BEST!
I do love Dr. Luu and think she's the greatest doctor I've ever had, very supportive and she regularly schedules me for appts. Very proactive...and caring!
I got established here because Dr. Stuart has a background that I thought would be suited to me specifically. There have been a few catches along the way though. One has been that he's impossible to get in to see. In 2 years, I have seen him only 2 times, once being on day one of getting established in the clinic. Most recently I have been rescheduled three times to get in for an annual physical/follow up, and almost 8 months later than my initially requested appointment. To their credit, they're more than willing to try to get me in to see another provider, but frankly if I wanted to see just any doctor I'll go to an urgent care. If you value a patient/provider connection, I'm not sure I would recommend this joint.Another catch has been on the billing side. Because Dr Stuart was listed as a sports medicine specialist, it took months of work to get the billing corrected for my primary care visits. Both times the billing needed correcting, and unfortunately difficult endeavor.
Update: i called in to the billing department prior to sending this review and was told they bill all first visits as office visits rather than annuals. I called in today and said when I left a review they said to call in and they would fix it. I talked to the same gentleman in the department as my first call and now he said he would fix it, so good to know I guess! They'll bill as an office visit unless it becomes publicly disclosed this is what they do.Moved from out of state and needed to establish care with a new pcp and do an annual physical - The Dr I saw was amazing! But just so everyone knows - even though I did an annual physical and the Dr said I wasn't due back for a year, they billed my insurance as an office visit rather than a physical. They get paid more for that and it isn't billed as preventative care so I have a sizeable bill to pay for something which has been billed as a physical at every other doctors office I've ever been to. Just wanted to make everyone aware their billing office bills new patients for physicals as not being physicals to make a bit more money. If you're on a high deductible plan like I am, it may be best to do business with an office that is more ethical in their billing practices.
The BEST Doctors, Nurses and Staff in Albuquerque by far. Friendly. Professional, knowledgeable, and competent. I enjoy my visits each and every time. They're so good, they saved my life.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
