The benefit of having Dr. Schlueter as your Optometrist is he explains everything that he finds, keeps you informed about patterns that could happen, and recommends options trending based on your medical history and latest in the world of Optometry and insight on Ophthalmology procedures if needed. Basically your reference guide to ANYTHING eye related. Well worth a visit if you are looking to become a new patient. (Please be patient if you don't get in soon.) Phone calls to schedule are recommended since, they don't normally accept walk-ins unless it's an emergency. A variety of insurances are taken and billed on your behalf from the hard-working staff. Past-due payments are handled with high amounts of integrity and professionalism. Side-note: The office is Independent from Wal-Mart Vision Center, i.e. you might present your insurance card for the exam, and once more if you plan on shopping with the Opticians for contacts, glasses, sunglasses. Pleasant experience throughout the years. I will continue to see him as my eye doctor so long as he continues to practice.

I’ve been going to eye doctors since I was in elementary school, and in different states over the years. Dr. Schlueter is THE BEST eye care professional I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. He is thorough and actually cares about his patients. I would drive hours to have my vision checked here over anywhere else. Ten times better than even the Children’s hospital optometrists (and my kids like them). His practice also has a wonderful front desk/ tech who answered all of my insurance questions and made payment and paperwork effortless. I will be recommending this office to family and friends.

Very friendly and knowledgeable, answered all of my questions during the exam and went over information very carefully to ensure I was following. Learned several things about my eyes and eyes on general just from listening to him talk!
