Very impersonal. Her MO always seemed to be get in and get out of my visit. I know she’s busy, but going to the OBGYN is such a vulnerable experience that bedside manner is important. She also brushed off a lot of the mental health issues I was having at the time (depression and anxiery), which made me feel small and like I didn’t matter as a patient. When I sent messages via the portal set up for patients, she was always very short and never followed up to my quests. The nail on the coffin was when she dropped me as a patient because my mother had a stroke and I missed my second appointment. (The first time being my car had a flat tire.) If you’re looking for empathy, understanding, and a caring experience when visiting a physician, save yourself the grief and skip over Lisa R. Rainer, MD.

Dr. Rauner is an excellent doctor. She is very friendly and very thorough. I had seen her for many years and trusted her with my health. Very kind and caring. Unfortunately, I had to switch doctors due to changing insurance. That was a sad day. I will return to her if my insurance improves.

Have been seeing her for about 7 years. My last visit was with her PA. I mentioned I'd been having bad pain in my toe when I walk for several months. She brushed it off & didn't look at it. When I went back for my procedure a week or so later, I told Dr. Rauner about it & she didn't seem to care but said would look at it after my procedure. She didn't look at it & I felt too awkward to even ask again since she made me feel she didn't want to deal with it. Looking for new Dr.

Dr Rauner was thorough in her attempts to isolate the cause of my problem. She spent a significant amount of time reviewing ten years of medical records I had sent to her office. Genuinely caring and compassionate, I highly recommend Dr Rauner.

Kept me waiting for 90 minutes past appt. time, then gave me the bum's rush. No time for any of my questions. Suggested 2 OTC medications, then referred me to a specialist.
