Dr. Volin performed my cervical spinal surgery a couple of years ago which I feel has now failed. I won't get a chance to discuss it with him though because when I went in yesterday about my lower back my husband and I were disgusted with the way I was treated. He cared nothing for trying to help me or even find out the problem. He asked me what I did for work and I told him I was disabled he then said "how can you be in pain if you don't do anything?" I could not believe he would be discriminating against someone who had been deemed disabled. My husband and I both wanted to walk out but we were still hoping he would treat me like a patient who came in with extreme pain instead of insulting me. I was questionable about going back to him a second time since it appears my first fusion failed but I went anyway against my better judgment only to feel mocked for being disabled. I worked in law enforcement and treated people with much more respect than I was given by him. I hope he doesn't treat all his patients this way, if he does he should not be doing a job in which you're expected to help people. I will never go back to him or this office.

He just seemed very confused about the fact that I was in there for the extreme pain I had in my lower back. I felt once I told him I was disabled he was condescending,, especially when he said " how can you be in pain if you don't do anything?" He does not know what I do nor did he ask. My case is pretty simplistic but he could not seem to be able to see that or even care about the pain I am in.

Very kind tries to understand health problem and provide solution and it always works. He’s the best doctor I have ever met. very kind, nice and professional. I recommend him to anybody that’s suffering from cervical spine issues.
