My sister is too nice to write this, so I will on her behalf. My sister went in for medication to treat an infection. Her doctor (who is amazing) was not in the office, so she saw Dr. Vandenhul. Within 3 mins of meeting my sister, Dr Vandenhull said(in a very condescending tone)'If you would just lose some weight ...' Weight was NOT the reason my sister was there, nor did her infection have anything to do with weight. Had Dr. Vandenhul taken those same 3 mins to review my sisters chart, she would have seen that she had lost 15-20 pounds since the last time she was in that office (which was just 3 months ago). It is really hard enough to lose weight as a grown women. Instead of discouraging someone who worked REALLY hard to get to that point, she might want to brush up on her people skills. The rest of the office is amazing!

Yesterday was my first time going to this clinic and let me tell you!! I loveee my doctor. Doctor Hussein is great and took very good care of me. Highly recommended. Especially if you’re pregnant.

No! I would not recommend Dr. Vandenhul if you want a professional and caring doctor. I think even one star is too much for the doctor who, while being on-call, reprimanded me for waking her up in the middle of the night with non-life threatening situation. I was shocked! We call 911 with life threatening situation not 'after- hours' service.

I have seen Dr. Vandenhul for many years now. She has been my kids doctor for 16+ years...I will NOT go to anyone else. I trust her with mine and my kids health care. She always takes the time to sit down and talk with us about anything we may need..She is the BEST doctor, very caring and doesn't miss anything. She is kind, calm and patient.

Dr Vandenhul, and her staff, are the best I have found in 60 yrs. The doctor is very straight forward and professional. She is direct, and honest. She took the time to listen to me, and acted immediately on the care I need. Her nurses are great, and willing to answer relevant questions. Even the nurse who took my blood made it painless. I highly recommend her, especially to women who need to be heard!

Saw this physician for the first time for a Pre-Op physical for a Bunionectomy. After answering several questions, she advised me that she wanted to talk to my Optometrist (Lens Crafters). where I got my reading glasses. I asked why she would need to talk to the optometrist and she would not go forward with the pre-op physical if she did not speak with the optometrist. I got off the exam table gathered by personal belongings and expressed to her "This is not going to work for me. I walked out! If she wanted info on the health of my eyes/Retina, she should have used her ophthalmoscope

She's the worst doctor experience I've ever had, by far, and I've had a couple of other ones that weren't very good. She would pause a moment and let me say what I wanted, but then she would disregard it totally. When I returned on a follow up visit, her version of what was said and agreed upon was very different than what was actually discussed, probably her thing of disregarding whatever I said. She seems to have the idea that she's a general and we're lowly privates, and apparently believes if you see her that your body and life are no longer yours, they're now hers. I saw another patient that was very upset and trying in vain to see a different doctor, I assume she must be one of her patients.From my experience, I suggest staying far, far away from her.

She didn't really seem to listen to my issues, and acted condescendingly towards me because I asked for a physical and she wasn't sure what it was that I wanted. I asked for blood work to be checked instead.

Dr. Vandenhul's has all the qualities I look for in medical health care. She looks and listens to her patients completely. She doesn't rush you and gives advice when needed. She does not push her adgenda on you she gives you options when possible and gives you her perspective on them. She is down to earth and very caring. She is highly knowledgeable in her field. I feel quite comfortable seeing her for any medical issues I have covered by her field.

Dr V listens to me and tries to get to know my lifestyle before prescribing any new treatment plan. She has been my doctor for 14 years and always sees me on time.
