Terrible
He sees me and also my mom, I disagree with the previous review he explains everything he even writes down for you. He has done that for me and also for my mom. I moved insurances so I could have him as my primary doctor. I think with doctors it is a very subjective thing at times. Someone may not like a doctor another one may think a doctor is the best one ever.
Terrible!!!!
WORST SO-CALLED DOCTOR EVER
Worst of the worst stay away from this doctor
Stay away from the man!!!! and his stafff
Dr. Herrera changed my scheduled appointments many times and when I came for a physical, I was undressed and waiting for the Dr. to show and a nurse came in my room and said Dr. Herrera cannot keep your appointment today and would I like to reschedule or see another Dr.? I can only rate this Dr. one way only - Dr. Herrera can never keep his scheduled appointments! AMA should look into how this Dr. does business!
I know he is the president of the company and he will tell you (as another review). I had to change one of the other doctors (because they left, infact 3 others left in 1 1/2 years for some reason). I need a annually physical and got the blood work and got an appointment. it took over 3 weeks to get in an to see him. When I went to the appointment it took over 1 hour to see him. Looked at the report and said that's good. listened to my lung, said good. listened to heart and said nothing about my that ( but I have AFib and have on coumadin for over 20 years and has never converted, any doctor can hear my heart). He 'blowed up' about my rheumatologist giving me prednisone for pain because back pain. Then he walked out the door and took me to the office manager to set up and set up XRays. for the short story: i took the xrays, took another 2 weeks to see the dr, took about less than 2 mins any said i need a MRI, too another 2 weeks to see Herrera, he cancelled the appointment and wanted another week. I listen to another doctor at that office to look an the reports, he said I need a referral to a Neurosurgeon and need with a steroid injection and brace and possible Kyphoplesty. I stopped see him now and looking for another doctor.
I had the misfortune of working with this doctor for an issue with a gall bladder. I rarely have medical problems and when my side started aching periodically I close the prictice because it was close to my home. I chose him because he is the "President" of the firm. What a mistake. He cancelled my appointment twice due to "other commitments", When I did gt to see him he sent me for an MRI which cost me $1000 out of pocket. I never heard back from the office with the results so I started badgering them. Eventually they admitted that they had lost the results but I kept insisting and then they magically "found" them and the test was inconclusive. Only then did he tell me (through his staff) that they could do a sonogram in the office which my insurance covered. The sonogram indicated gall stones but I never was able to get in contact with him to discuss the results of the test or what to do next. Maybe I didn't try hard enough to get back to him but he made me feel like I was bothering him by asking for care. He might be a President of the practice but I think that there are much better options than him.
This entire medical group is the most caring, professional bunch of people I've ever had the pleasure of dealing with and I've lived in Europe and Asia. All the staff is included in this. The care is truly amazing. I will hate to leave this area and can only hope where ever life takes me, it takes me to people this these people.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
