Dr. Yemi Akin-Olugbade is the most condescending person I have ever met, ironically even in the context of him reaffirming my own self diagnosis. I say self diagnosis, but this is of course only after having an ultrasound conducted, and receiving diagnosis from other, actually helpful, actually professional and courteous medical professionals. It was obvious to me, even without Dr. Yemi's profound knowledge and enlightenment, that no corrective action needed to be taken at this point. However, at my family's behest I kept my appointment to this urologist, which has hopefully given me the invaluable lesson to do my due diligence on a Doctor. Money gone, blood pressure skyrocketed, and a lengthy bout of regret is all I will have after this torturous ordeal with Dr. Yemi. Who according to other reviews, is allegedly is also uncaring in the treatment of those who need help the most, such as one suffering from Parkinson's. Another reviewer says that Dr. Yemi closed down a previous practice abruptly, leaving patients scrambling.

My son has always seen Lora Pateso she is amazing. Always very friendly and never makes us wait too long. They've always had his best interest at heart.

I saw Dr. Yemi for a year, I think it might've been a little longer. I could barely urinate. I have Parkinson's disease and they call my condition Parkinson's Bladder. With Parkinsons comes severe tremors. He had me try catheterization on myself. I tried but from the tremors I ended up tearing myself up inside and was peeing straight blood. So he put a catheter with a bag attached to my leg. I couldn't get rid of UTI's from it. So come my next bladder ultrasound it was canceled I called hospital to find out why, I was told the doc office cancelled it. I called them to find out why. They informed me that Dr. Yemi didn't want to see me any longer because i wouldn't follow his directions!!!! I did everything to my best ability! I couldnt control my tremors and I had no control of UTI's. It was actually a blessing he refused to see me because I started seeing Dr. Zaslau in Morgantown and he placed a bladder stimulator in me and now I have no problem urinating. Thank you Dr. Zaslau!

Rude, not on time, no follow up.

I kept telling him my testosterone was getting too high. Oh no it's in range his pa would say. Yes, for a 20 year old, not a 61 year man. My testosterone was 1038 and my CBC was way too high. He closed his practice and I was left in the cold. I had to find another urologist fast.
