I was in and out in an hour, the NP said if it wasn't for covid we'd be faster. I have no complaint on wait time at all. It was a great experience and professional. The NP fully explained everything and very proficient.

Really disappointed and appalled with the lack of communication and options by staff. I wanted to get a covid test before seeing an immunocompromised friend out of an abundance of caution, not because I had any of the most telling symptoms. I downloaded a list of covid testing sites from the county health department and saw this facility listed as "no appointment required". My mistake for assuming that testing was still free and that it would be a PCR test (why would you go to a testing facility for an "at home" test?). I called this facility in advance to confirm it was walk-in and they said they provide walk-in testing only. I arrived and checked in, indicating I was there for only a covid test. Little did I know they were checking me in as an urgent care patient! I was super confused when the medical assistant called me back and started taking my vitals. I asked why and he said they always do and then he asked whether I wanted to see the doctor. I said no that I was only there for a walk-in test. I was suddenly extremely fearful I was about to get a huge medical bill. Rather than clarifying anything or giving me a chance to back-out he quickly swabbed my nose and said they would call with the results. On my way out I checked with the front desk and they confirmed that I had just had an urgent care appointment! I left horrified. When they called with the results of my test they said it wasn't a PCR test but a test that was the same as the home-test kits, (like the ones you get for free in the mail) and that the test alone costs $300! At any time the front desk or the medical assistant could have told me this information in advance. I had thought this facility was legit since there are arrangements in place for them to take patients who would otherwise go to NBMC Immediate Care Clinic after hours. But after my experience it sure looks like they are just another privately-owned, for-profit urgent care company out to make a quick buck. Now I get to wait in fear for my surprise medical bill...

HiI don't usually give my views on things like this. But I had such an excellent experience I wanted to give kudos to this biz.The staff was all very courteous and considerate of my needs.I saw a Dr Susan Haney she was what every Doctor should strive to be.All around a very nice clean environment. Excellent service they Do go the extra mile for you.

I just stopped by to pay my bill and I have NEVER in all my life been treated so incredibly rude by the staff before. I paid my bill and I will never go back again if they are going to behave in a completely HOSTILE and Unprofessional manner like they are today! ! ! !

I had a wonderful experience at Nova Urgent Health Care today. I was quickly served without any wait at 9 am on a Saturday morning. From the receptionist who greeted me, to the medical assistant who initially took me to the room and got my vitals and initial info, to the NP Mark who treated me, it all felt very professional and I never felt rushed like I have at the NBCM urgent care, where I also had a wait for a very long time to get in, and was back and forth to the waiting room several times. I felt like care was taken to diagnose my condition and explain my diagnosis and treatment plan. I would highly recommend trying this place out and I will definitely plan to return if I need immediate care in the future.
