We went to see Dr. Jacobson for a second opinion on my right shoulder and whether rotator cuff surgery is necessary. He agreed that it did need surgery to enable me to use it as I’m accustomed to and to alleviate the pain. The continued use of it following my injury has done further damage and will require a reverse procedure. We were very pleased with his very clear explanation and answers to our questions. He treated us like intelligent people who were involved in the process. He explained the alternative and the consequences of both. Dr. Jacobson then left it up to us what we do.

Excellent with families and kids, especially in emergency situations. We are so thankful he was our son's surgeon. From his knowledge to hus bedside manner Dr. Jacobsen is an asset to GPH.

Dr Jacobson is such an easy to talk to down to earth genuinely nice guy. He's brilliant at explaining things in layman's terms that anybody can understand and is so knowledgeable. I saw him for an injured shoulder after slipping on my icy porch at home. He, his nurse and his staff really made it easy for me to deal with my job and any insurance hoops I had jump through to really put my mind at ease. Highly recommend!
