List of Alan N Langnas's Reviews
Dr. Lagnas was a SUIT. When you lose your child in death, you need more than a shoulder shrug. Sadly that is all I got. My son deserved better. 11 years later, his careless look and suit is all I remember. So sad.
spent time explaining options. team was great
My family had been to many doctors in the midwest before being refereed to Dr. Langnas. He was the only doctor able to accurately diagnose my son and provide his options. He was very honest with us about our options. Dr. Langnas was kind and caring pre and post transplant. Dr. Langnas gave my son a new chance at life.
almost 17 years ago my son had a transplant from a team led by Dr Langnas. Dr Langnas had a way of comforting me in a way that I wasnt scared but confident. He is what a true Dr should be, thanks to Dr Langnas my son,Bryce is almost 19 years old and doing well!
I would not recomend this surgeon to anyone. He has no interest in patients that are not his own. When he is covering for the other doctors on his team he tends to just brush off what is needed to be done until his coverage is over, even when the child really needs something done. My child ended up in the hospital for 3 months for something he should have been in the hospital for 2 weeks because of his lack of willingness to do what was needed.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
