Albert R. Dunn's Online Review Report Card

I had the great misfortune of being treated by this person on 2/27 at Methodist. I was in the midst of a true health crisis and absolutely terrified. I had endured severe pain for days and finally decided to go to an ER. One that I had trusted for years. A severe headache with no warning, sudden onset, tingling in the face, blurred vision and nausea, the most severe in my life. I had to go in with a hat on, couldnt even rinse my hair due to sensitivity. He was rude, dismissive and not through. It was much more than a "headache" and he could have treated the pain but decided to profile me instead. I get angry everytime I think of how rude this man and his nurse were to me. I just lost a significant person from stage 4 cancer, let me tell you, if I had wanted drugs I wouldnt need to ask you, I would have kept all the pills I flushed after he passed. I believe this was a neuro disturbance from Covid but this simplton wasnt interested. "well whatta ya want me to do". Should file a report.

A caring approach to his patient and excellent communication skill. Dr Dunn listens well and explains what he is doing.

Dr. Dunn is compassionate and devoted to providing care to help find answers. During my ER visit, he had wonderful bedside manners and kept checking in providing updates and results. The visit wasn't quick, but I found answers and was on the road to healing.

This physician had absolutely no bedside manner. He doesn't explain anything to you, the only answers I received were from questions I asked. He informed me to come back to the emergency room if I developed certain symptoms. Those symptoms were the cause of my visit to the emergency room so did he even look at my chart. I expressed much concern to him and he didn't appear to even care. I generally don't post reviews, in fact this is my first, but if I can alert even one patient that this is certainly NOT a Dr. that I would ever waste the time/money to see, then I will feel my opinion was listened to.
