I had an excellent experience with Dr. Sjulin. I originally went to see her for a second opinion on a diagnosis. She spent a good deal of time with me to explain the test results, even to the point of drawing pictures! She is straightforward and easy to understand. I ended up having her perform the surgery which went very well.

Dr Sjulin is truly a blessing. I am so thankful I found her. She is very personal, and made me feel like an actual person and not "just another appointment". I had a full hysterectomy leaving only the ovaries. She addressed all of my concerns very professionally , while still being straight to the point about all risks. The whole experience with Dr Sjulin was very informative and I was able to feel relaxed about everything that was happening. I will always recommend her to everyone.

As a doula I have attended several births with Dr. Sjulin. All of them were c-sections. Even though these were not emergencies, she convinced the mothers to give up. Her c-section rate is very high. She told 3 women in my presence their pelvises were too small. Each of them went on to have vaginal births of bigger babies later on.

I would not recommend Dr. Ann Sjulin. She did not spend adequate time with me or address my concerns. She was also found guilty of medical malpractice during a delivery-do your research!
