List of Children's Hospital & Medical Center's Reviews
I had a great, fast, and accurate experience when I brought my child to E.R here. I was thoroughly impressed!
We are new to this hospital and staff. Our first impressions of everyone were great! Even the security guard who greets you at the door went out of his way to help us. Absolutely amazed by how well my son was treated and as parents how well everything was explained to us about our visits. We saw the lab department nephrology and radiology and have nothing but great things to say about all steps of these processes. 5 stars well deserved.
Our 17mo had an MRI of brain with seizure protocol that was collected 2/14, resulted 2/16, so on 2/18 we message on the connect app saying parents are still waiting to hear from neurology about results. Also forgot to follow up with us during rounds while in the hospital stay. Now on 2/21 the nurse said she will check with NP to see if she has had a chance to review the result yet. Kiddo had her first seizure on 2/8 and we think it lasted over 2 hours. Tomorrow will be two weeks since the seizure and we are still waiting for discussion of test results. The PICU was great...do recommend that part.
Staff and service at the ER was excellent during a recent visit for my daughter.
Had to bring my kiddo in to the ER. The staff seem to be very caring and helpful. Everyone but his nurse Maria she handled my 5 month old very roughly. At first I thought it was just me, being over protective. But after watching the entire team handle him with such great care. I was convinced I was right, her short and smug response when I asked questions, then later watching her rip off the tape from his IV and pulled out the needle so carelessly. Further heighten my concerns. Would I take him back if need be? Yes! But I will definitely request a different nurse. Again the rest of the staff did an excellent job with his care. I wished I said more during his visit but I was mentally and physical drained. Moral of the story if you see something or feel something wrong say something!
If feels almost illegal that when you thank a nurse, to have the nurse ask about donations to the hospital. Totally unethical. The family may feel pressured to donate to continue receiving good care. Do better.

Making your nurses solicit families for money if they say thank you?! That is ridiculous. Nurses already have enough to deal with and dont need this on top of it. Not to mention telling them they cant say "No problem, im just glad your child is doing well" in response to a parent saying thank you for helping their child.
Waited for an hour and a half and I was the only one in the waiting room when I came. I ending up leaving to go elsewhere. Most terrible experience I’ve ever had! Never going back.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
