I saw Dr Blatchford after being a patient of Dr. Thorsen who retired. After having two hemorrhoids banded (which did not work, no fault of hers), she didn’t really offer me any education and was kind of rough in her technique. But what I realized after seeing another physician was that even the exam table in her office did not allow a thorough exam. I was disappointed in her bedside manner, and sought a second opinion. I received a very thorough exam and questioning about my symptoms from my new doctor, plus a bowel protocol in writing which has helped immensely. Dr. Blatchford never gave me any education nor asked me about the amount of bleeding I had. (I had a transfusion). Much more confident in my new physician. He explained the need for surgery which I have scheduled.

had comlications from a procedure and when i called for help i was told to take a laxative and see my primary dr. no service after the sale from this dr.

I waited over a month to get in to see Dr. Blatchford and our entire visit lasted 5 minutes before she sent me on my way stating, “I will not touch you. And if you find a doctor that will then you will regret it.” She gave me no options besides to refer me to someone out in council bluffs. Her bedside manner was awful and she left me feeling hopeless. Unless you have a life threatening illness, I doubt she is the doctor for you. Helping women, or any human in discomfort without serious consequen

Dr Blatchford visited me in my room before the procedure, and throughout the process. She was extremely knowledgeable, has a wonderful bedside manner, and is efficient and caring. I highly recommend her as a doctor.
