Dr Emig saw me on a weekend in an emergency situation. He drove in from home and opened up the clinic so he could see me. He was very thorough and explained everything fully and clearly. As a result of that experience I have switched to him as my primary opthamologist.

Dr. Emig saved the sight in my left eye. He is a thorough professional. Your sight is so important. I needed emergency help. He showed up. He delivered. He treated me like family. He has character. I recommend Mark Emig.

Dr. Emig is absolutely AMAZING! I have been a patient of his for almost 7 years now. He is very thorough, very knowledgeable, and explains everything to let you make an informed decision. He is such a great guy and ophthalmologist! I have Retinopathy with Macula Degeneration and have required multiple laser surgeries, 3 (about to have my 4th) vitrectomy, and for the last 5 years received injections in my eyes. He always strikes up a conversation prior to the injection (the last appointment was about our favorite books) to reduce the anxiety of the injection.Yes, there are times that you will wait for some time in the waiting room. This is because Dr Emig sees so many patients. Several times I've chatted with patients who've driven from Kansas, South Dakota, and Central Nebraska because he is the best at what he does. The staff at the Omaha and Council Bluffs locations are just as friendly and know the patients well. I won't trust my eyes to any other office!

Terrible service. They canceled an appointment that my wife and I had but kept the other. With out telling us. And would squeeze us in after they messed up. I will not be doing business with any of there locations anymore! I would go else where. This isn't our first issue with them.

Had a partial retina tear on New Years eve and Dr Emig was on-call and repaired it that day. Save my eye sight! Thank-you so much!!

His bedside manner is fantastic. He instills a sense of calmness about procedures and his staff makes you feel like you are the most important person in the world. His follow-ups are the same thing. He is one of the most tremendous doctors out there. I trust him completely.

This doctor was on-call at Midwest Eye Care when my daughter experienced a tear in the conjunctivia around her prosthesis. He told her this was not his area and sent her to see a Cosmetic Surgeon. The Cosmetic Surgeon told her she needed to see an Ophthalmologist. According to Dr. Emig's credentials, he is an Opthalmologist.
