I had no damn Idea what an Ophthalmologist did, but now I know. (edit): I came back to this review 4 months later, and know what it is again; it's an eye doctor.

Dr. Goldstein shows compassion and caring when explaining your test results. Of the two locations he has, I've always gone to the lakeside location. He is very thorough when doing eye exams. He answers every question, and doesn't rush me out when I think of more at the last minute. I have seen him for several years, and everyone from Dr Goldstein, to the whole staff have always treated me with great respect and courtesy! Crystal was also wonderful in taking a lot of time with helping me with my decision with the frames that I wanted after my eye exam! Highly recommend this eye doctor and place!

Dr Goldstein is a reliable and trustworthy eye Dr. He and his staff have taken care of me, my mom and sister for several years. We all have diabetes, he's the best.

The entire process was very smooth and painless. Right from offering options on (Starbucks) coffee to explaining insurance coverage in details, listening and making the right notes to Dr.Goldstein himself providing the right optical power as also explaining the relevant details with care and humour within the right timeframe; the entire experience was wonderful. Need we say that we had not got any review on him and had some apprehension initially. Jane at the front-desk and Halini in charge of the spectacles were wonderful, too. However, I wish the office name-board was a little more evident; we missed it initially and ended up at Lakeside Hospital.

I cannot believe this office. The doctor was late and very uncaring. The problem remains. The staff is rude and uninformed. And when they can't figure out how to file insurance they'll come back and deny ever talking to you. AVOID THIS OFFICE AT ALL COST - unless you have a lot of time to waste, not solving your problems.

These folks really care about the quality of care they give. The most wonderful experience at a doctors office, ever! Concerned, caring and HOSPITABLE. Doctor explained diagnosis in layman's terms, very important in understanding what the problem is, how it was caused and what to look for in the future.
