I have gone to Dr Palmer for over 40 years. I worked in the healthcare field for 45 years & have always trusted his advice & opinions. Dr Palmer diagnosed my lupus, RA, ITP (low platelets), osteoarthritis & osteoporosis. He’s kind, compassionate & listens to what you have to say. All of his staff is friendly & helpful.
Best rheumatologist I have ever had. Friendliest doctor office to visit!
I wouldnt even give them one star if it was my choice. I am in joint pain, lower back, knees, fingers, ect due to Crohns Disease. The medications they put me on (against my liking) caused me to almost die! I had a seizure while working had the front office lady not heard me hit the ground I would have been dead because I stopped breathing!!! After CPR and a hospital trip the ER doctor told me to never take the medications again. When I called and told them Dr Palmer advised me to just use less of a dose and would not prescribe me the medications the ER doctor wanted me to start taking....DO NOT GO HERE!
Very unprofessional, stormed out of the room during the appt and misdiagnosed the patient. He decided on a diagnosis before he ever entered the room and laid eyes on the patient. Berates other providers, their credentials, and their medical skills. Would never see this doctor again or recommend.
One visit I was told my foot pain (that I had never had before) was caused by my RA. The next visit (same exact pain) I was told it wasn’t. I had zero say in what type of care I received and felt like I was a bother and not listened to.When I voiced concerns about things I was simply told I was wrong.
Misdiagnosed my pulmonary embolism as pleurisy almost died.
They were quick to diagnose me and start me on an antidepressant that is also used for pain. The PA told me the only thing with it was that some people had a teeny bit of a problem when they try to stop this med. I should have researched this medicine before I tried it, so thats on me. After several months, the med was not helping at all, and my symptoms were worse than ever. I was given a schedule to taper off of the medicine, which was absolute hell on earth. When I called to say I was having a bad time, I was told to stop it completely. BAD ADVICE. I just about went out of my mind and was SO SICK from the withdrawals and felt suicidal for the first time in my life. My pain was still not at an acceptable level , and they actually tried to put me back on the medicine that caused me such a problem to begin with! Not to mention, this medicine has KILLED any libido and its been months since Ive taken it and still no libido. Stop prescribing poison, and LISTEN to the patients!!!
After dosing me out on so many medications that I thought I was going to die I demanded something different. Suddenly they come up with one medication vs the 4 that I was previously prescribed. Fast forward a year. My 2 last appointments at this location I was told how I felt vs me being able to say how I felt. Which was "fine" when I was not "fine". Despite me attempting to communicate this with the provider I was not heard. Within a month my body was in a complete mess. This also was at the beginning of the year. I tried to communicate prescription medicine insurance change and was not taken seriously. It's now Feb. I finally just got my medication after being off of it for over a month all because their office couldn't find time to fax my pharmacy back. Phone calls are returned when they feel like it. Erin is great. Dr. Palmer is great. Linda is horrible with the worst bedside manner I've experienced in a very long time. Mary the nurse...she's equally as unconcerned as Linda. Needless to say I'm done with this clinic.
I was the start patient until they couldnt figure out my issues, then they kicked me to the curb and would refill the addictive opitaes they got me hook on, thanks doc!!
Ive been seeing Dr. Palmer for upwards of 20 years. After seeing several doctors for my condition, Dr. Palmer was the first Dr. to help with my condition. I get the impression he has no idea what a difference hes made in the quality of peoples lives, including mind.
Dr. Palmer doesn’t spend the time to actually help. He dismissed my symptoms because they don’t fit into the box of the diagnosis he gave me. He told me that my pain wasn’t caused by RA (a diagnosis he gave me) he explained that’s just my feet. He told me my pain was at an acceptable level, never asking me what I thought was acceptable.
What a jerk!. Waited & waited to be told I need a gastric bypass surgery before he could do anything more for me. Will not be wasting any more time with this doc.
My medical issues were not taken seriously and I recieved no help. I had a horrible experience and they stopped returning my calls
I think hes one of the best physicians Ive ever had. He takes time with me, listens to my questions, gives me good feedback, and is personable. His approach is conservative from a drug standpoint which is something that I appreciate. I will be very unhappy when he retires because its difficult to find a good physician. I have been seeing him for over 10 years and hes never given me a reason to want to change.
he no longer listens to his patients, derisive of other medical professions and professionals, will not look at or consider/acknowledge test and lab results, (xray MRI CAT) that are contrary to his opinion.
Generally friendly, however, if you disagree with his medical opinion he becomes short and curt. Very insistent in patient trying medication after medication,
Dr Palmer is a great Doctor! He always takes time to visit and doesnt rush you along! I would recommend him to anyone!
The most rude person Ive met. Should not be practicing medicine. Arrogant. Staff looked unhappy. Would never recommend.
Ive been with Dr. Palmer for 11 years and he has done wonders with my arthritis. He has always treated me well and has done an excellent job keeping my RA under control. I hope he never retires. lol
rude, degrading, demeaning, arrogant. didnt listen to a word I said and berated me for stating I didnt have the symptoms (pain, fatigue, insomnia, ect) that he had declared I did
