My son (10 years old) broke his leg at Gunstock yesterday and we headed straight to this ER. Honestly they could not have been more fantastic. We did not wait. Every nurse and doctor took the time to explain every step of treatment to him. They calmed him down. Casted him. Gave us recommendations for next steps. The nurses were just lovely. Caring, sweet, kind. As a NYC girl, who has done more than her fair share of ERs, this place blew me away. I just want to write this for the next mom whose kid breaks something at Gunstock - don't hesitate to take your kid here. We seriously considered driving back home to NYC but are so happy we did not. We were in and out of there in less than 4 hours. We are grateful for the excellent care. We truly are.
Normally a drab and dank place full of sick or injured people moaning and groaning about their ailments. Normally accompanied by crabby front desk personnel who have a tendency to bark orders. Well you will be pleased to know this is not that ER. In fact, this is a light and airy ER full of sillier nice cordial personnel that will put a smile on your face. Very responsive to my daughter who was not feeling well.
Worst hospital my grandson went in there tonight with a bad cough they told us nothing is wrong with him we shouldn't bring him in! I will be filing a complaint tomorrow for malpractice thank you
Went to E R breaking 215 in blood pressure and PAIN all over. Doctor offered me more blood pressure meds and an aspirin. Knowing I was not pleased he marched off in a huff but sent his nurse in to harass me off and on about having the nerve to speak my mind to a doctor - God forbid - then she informed me he probably wasn't coming back in to speak with me so I walked out, did get charged a few thousand for this. Think about this people.
Got into a ski accident in 2017, took a scan of my head and was about to send me home stating a concussion until bloodwork came back with inflammation markers in my liver. When they did that CT they found out I had a bruised lung, and broken ribs. And we later found out i had brain damage
Worst health care I have ever experienced hands down.
Not normally a fan of this hospital for obvious reasons but I was actually treated somewhat decent on my last visit.
Absolutely neglectful healthcare "provider". They LOST the only original copy of my military medical record, and then refused to talk to me when I raised the issue to them. I got no response via email. What kind of a hospital is this? I will never, ever, ever go to one of their facilities or recommend them to a friend. In fact, I make a point to recommend that no one go to LRGH or any of its affiliated facilities.
Took my mother to the er last week with symptoms of a stroke. Was put in the hallway for almost an hour with hardly anyone checking on her even though she was scared. Finally got a room, the room had blood on the floor along with a brownish fluid, the room smelled of urine and feces, dirty gloves stuffed in the chair. This is disgusting for an er department on a good day, never mind during a pandemic. This hospital is God awful. I have pictures of all of the above things, no response to my emails.
This place should not be a hospitalVERY uncaringThey don't deserve one starEmergency room is a jokeTHEY DON'T CARE AT ALL
Nice place to go if you want to die, but I wouldn’t recommend them for diagnosis or treatment.
Very unprofessional. There is a reason this hospital is in the red. This hospital needs younger and more qualified individuals to manage this hospital overall. One cannot oversee the demad of an entire hospital to the best of their ability when they are also trying to run a completely different department then what they are actually trained for. Please consider the future of your hospital by hiring new individuals with a fresh perspective who arent just looking to finish up their retirement. You might want to look into how the respiratory department is being managed currently.
Great care in emergency room by dr Steele and nurses. Could not be happier. Explanations given. Tests done in a timely manner. Highly recommend
We went to the ER last night and even though the wait was longer than normal Dr Brown was so professional and calm. They were slammed with incoming ambulances and had two DART runs with critical patients and we were not their top priority but the nursing staff did what they could to make the wait easier. They were running around like crazy and getting yelled at for doing the best they could! Thank you for the effort and hard work to the LRGH ER staff!
Waited almost two hours in the er after I found my son with tylenol and was just told they didnt believe he could have taken enough to cause symptoms. The discharge lady only told us when asked were wouldn't see symptoms until hours later if we saw any and what they might be. As panicked parents we were put into a room last when we were the first in line. No tests were done and they didn't see us soon enough to attempt to make him expel whay he may have eaten. Iam very disappointed.
Absolutely horrible hospital. Horrible service. Terribly rude uneducated staff. This place doesn’t care even slightly about what’s actually wrong with you. They just try to rob you of as much money as possible. I went into the emergency room for issues with asthma and was refused. I repeat REFUSED treatment for trouble breathing unless I’d agree to allow them to do a full body MRI and several other treatments that would cost upwards of $10k. The doctor told me I “could be dead by morning if I don’t get the MRI” my girlfriend who is a nurse at another location was horrified by the way I was treated. Instead of giving me a simple breathing treatment, I left the emergency room still having trouble breathing with no care and compassion for my well beating. DO NOT GIVE THIS PLACE YOUR TIME OR MONEY! Crooks
was good the for a couple days until the staff changed care went downhill fast glad to get my wife out of there
Well my friends and family who know me well, will understand that I am reluctant to share such personal information like the colonoscopy procedure. I do feel it necessary to do my best to eliminate fears of this procedure as I easily survived my first, this morning. Thank you to Dr. Andrew Ray, Dr. Poco, Nathan Fuster CNRA, Donna RN and the other nurses and staff at LRGH for your kind and exceptional care.
Great experience with surgical services and Dr Kelly. Staff was friendly and caring. Very positive experience. Thank you
LRGH Sleep Evaluation Center, Gilford, NH Ill tell ya, Im not typically the person that posts negative reviews, however I find myself so frustrated that I have to share my experience. I will say right out of the gate, it cant be easy dealing with patients that are suffering with sleep deprivation to begin with as were typically short fused to begin with and will also say that when I visit the office, everyone is very pleasant and a genuine empathy to my plight and eagerness to help me succeed.....now where this office falls short is after I leave.....when I first started the Cpap therapy, I was told that it would be a very difficult process, firstly getting familiar with having an apparatus on my face and secondly getting the machine settings dialed in if you will to the optimal conditions that would make the treatment tolerable enough to get a healthy full night of sleep, and that it would be a process of me communicating to the office if I was having difficulty and felt I needed a setting change or I could make an appointment with a tech, well I made an appointment, went in, spent a good part of an hour with a tech, trying various settings until we found a setting I felt comfortable with, I was told the new setting would be communicated with Doctor and the Doc would make the setting change, in a nut shell it a few days before the Dr even made the change but worse, the changes the Dr made WERE NOT THE OPTIMAL SETTINGS THAT WERE SUPPOSE TO BE ADJUSTED, all I can assume is that the tech, although a nice person, is lousy at taking notes and or communicating with the doctor what she discovered during our over an hour session and then it took several more days before the settings were changed again and when they changed again, the settings were still wrong and put the pressure back down to the setting that didnt work before I met with the tech......still cant use the machine...Ive called several times and left messages, NO CALL BACK from the tech...I called in today and spoke to receptionist, she said the tech got my message and had the settings changed yesterday on machine, they werent, I get home today from work, still no changes and still have not got call back from tech....well now its Friday afternoon, theyre closed and Dr Hatten isnt back to make changes until next Tuesday so here we freaking go again, its been several days now and will be several more days before changes will be made.....mean while folks I CANT USE MY MACHINE and when they finally make the changes next week, will probably be wrong like they were the last time it took a week to make settings changes....that were the wrong changes to settings. This treatment is hard enough to overcome under the best treatment never mind like this......
