Dr. Mann is truly a caring and outstanding surgeon! I had a hip replacement on Jly 21, 2020 and he was reachable every step of the way. My mom had cobalt poisoning due to a past hip replacement and Dr. Mann was so kind to her. She is only 3 weeks out of surgery and she is doing so much better. I cant recommend him more! A trusted and knowledgable surgeon!
Very inexperienced doctor. Do yourself and your loved ones a favor, find a different doctor and do your research. It could be a matter of life or death.
Dr. Mann operated on my mother as though she was a paper cut out doll. At 81 years old he performed a total knee replacement. Two weeks later he preformed a second operation as she had torn the tendons in the new operated knee after a fall. We followed with our scheduled checkups, the first visit shy of two weeks. The doctor says he would like us to come back in a week. At this time he realizes operated knee is now infected. He again does surgery, this time to remove the entire new knee replacement and place in an antibiotic spacer with a temporary knee. This was her 3rd surgery on the same knee in five short weeks. She became ill the day after surgery with a Gi bleed. She was weak, shaky and slurry in speech following this ordeal. None the less she was prematurely discharged 2 days later. She spent 8 days in a miserable rehab facility , with Dr. Mann pretty much washing his hands of her. On the day of her discharge she was released back to KMH. She was dead a week later.
Dr. Mann repaired my hip after a fall in December. I found him to be very intelligent and friendly. Highly recommended.
I had an appointment with Dr. Mann on September 16th. At that time he told me someone would call me within 5 to 7 days. After waiting two weeks for the call, I called Excelsior on September 30th to ask if there was a problem. I was informed I would be called that day or the next day. I stayed home during those times and didnt even go to my basement as I cant hear the phone down there. It is now the 4th of October. How much longer should I wait for them to call? Should I start looking for another doctor? I have never had a problem like this before and dont know what to do at this point.
Dr. Mann has a terrible bedside manner. Not compassionate at all! When I made another appointment with him to complain of pain, he was dismissive and told me to simply buy orthotics. Second option shower he didnt set my ankle correctly along with broken screws. Terrible!
Dr Mann is very caring and considerate...helped me to find the answers to my hip and knee pain..i need arthroscopic hip surgery, which he does not do, but referred me to the best dr for it, dr ryan wilkins in the same office...he could see that i was nervous about surgery but took the time to reassure me that i was in good hands ...i felt much better with his reassurance...
I have seen Dr Mann twice so far..once for my foot, and once for my hip ...he helped me tremendously both times, and I am awaiting my next appointment with him to determine the next step in treating my hip issues. He is very mild mannered & soft spoken and doesnt make you worry or wait unnecessarily
Found him dismissive, disinterested, inaccurate diagnostically as well as in his record keeping as he notes performing tests and measurements that he never conducted. Initial exam consisted of nothing more than him drawing conclusions based on my BMI yet he wrote and billed as if he conducted a thorough, hands on assessment. Am turning info. over to those whose job it is to investigate when falsifications, breaches or fraudulant activity occurs.
After being told by 2 doctors that I need a second opinion due to his error in diagnosis now need surgery
I found him to be percursory, dismissive, uninterested and inaccurate in his assessment and reporting (which I have obtained and reviewed and find full of errors including in his reporting of having examined me when in fact he never did any of the procedures he claims to have done). Most of my experience with both him and his clueless office staff has been at minimum distasteful, and at maximum, concerning, given such compromises in ethics and practice standards.
Excellent surgeon!
I have no good words for dr Mann. My foot surgery went really bad. After months of healing my foot was more swollen and worse than I went in for. His answer was to see another Dr. That told me I was in real trouble. Should have gone to another Dr right away after talking to him. My opinion is he doesnt really care. Oh screws he put in started to come out. I also had 50 states to close surgery. Other Dr. Said they dont use staples 1 long stitch so much less pain
Very professional and really knows what he’s doing. I feel like I’m in great hands with him!
Very caring and patient
Very thorough and explained things very clearly. Friendly, professional and personable.
Dr. Mann is a very professional doctor. He was great for me and I would recommend him. He fixed my knee and he was and is very concerned about the outcome. Also he is a skilled surgeon. Almost one month after my knee replacement and I am walking perfectly normal. Very little pain.
His timeline for recovery was way off by about 7 months and he never has a definitive answer hes just out to get your money please from my experience save yourself and never talk to this negligent underminding doctor hes absolutely terrible
Maybe the other people had him on a bad day, but he was friendly and really listen to what my husband was saying. He has been going to him about a year, He is an excellent doctor. My husband just had full knee replacement and is doing very well considering its only been two weeks. His number for bending his knee was so impressive that he did not qualify for staying at a rehab but have PT people coming to our home. All the other patients in the hospital asked who his doctor was.
very unfriendly, not an understanding man and does not seem to care about his patients. makes you wait around 2 hours to be seen, only to check on you along with his intern for about 4 minutes and then leave. This happened on each time I was seen by this Dr. which was the three times that I have been here. He does not seem to be interested in treating patients, nor does not care about the outcome of their care. probably the biggest waste of time & money ever spent at a doctors office.
