Tried to make an appointment regarding pain in side, referred by primary care physician. Person answering phone couldnt stop talking for a split second to actually LISTEN to prospective patient, and even after I explained that I was hoping not to wait two full months in pain to be seen, she replied, that is the best I can do unless someone cancels. And people wonder why our healthcare system sucks. Its not just insurance companies...
I have been a patient of Dr. Rochesters for 6 years. He returns calls within the business day, makes time to see me for urgent matters, and spends at least 20 minutes with me during office visits. He listens tentatively, answers my millions of questions, explains things thoroughly and makes sure I understand things properly. He genuinely cares about my wellbeing and is someone I trust. While hospitalized he visited me 3 times, had his associates check on me daily, and called me every day. He is a wonderful doctor.
