If you do not live in Manhattan, this is probably not the doctor for you. All information and referrals are for Manhattan. Staff is helpful and friendly until there is a problem, then their time is limited and you are on your own. The office imposes inflexible standards and conditions.
Dr. Aisenberg is phenomenal. His bedside manner cannot be matched. He is attentive, patient, and caring. He also is tremendously knowledgable and skilled.
Best bed side manner a really amazing doctor would highly recommend him and his team.
Dr. Aisenberg is a wonderful, kind, and caring physician. He takes the time to explain everything and answer all your questions. My husband and I have been seeing him for a number of years and could not be happier with his care. In addition, the staff members I interacted with on my most recent visit were extremely efficient, but also warm and friendly.
Dr Aisenberg is thorough, kind, and very competent. He is undoubtedly one of the best GI docs in the city, probably the entire country.
Dr. Aisenberg is an exceptional physiciancompassionate, knowledgeable, warm and wise.

He has treated me for ulcerative colitis for years and has helped my husband through many GI issues.

He has our unending appreciation and gratitude.
Today was another typical example of why Dr. Aisenberg is so special. After a difficult weekend, I emailed and asked for advice and Dr. Aisenberg responded immediately and arranged for testing and then called as soon as the results were in. Through all of the years we have known him, he has been wise, thoughtful, kind, generous with his time and a wonderful resource for my family, friends and patients as well as my husband and myself.
Excellent in every respect.
Dr. Aisenberg is absolutely fabulous doctor in every way. This is the first review I've ever written for anyone and it's because I feel like I owe him after the way he has taken care of my fiance. He is very knowledgeable, has excellent bedside manner, and goes above and beyond to make sure we are at ease - as much as we can be. There are not enough kind words for this man. I wish EVERY doctor was as great as him.
Jimmy is a narcissistic 'haughty' person (prob. Bec. He went to Harvard) that does not prioritize his patient care. A good friend of mine with an advanced stage of gastric cancer was his patient who tried getting thru to him for over a week, which resulted in being rushed into the er half dead. After being there for several hours with still no visit from him, he was forced to fly out of state for an emergency surgery which he never recovered from. He passed away 3 months later.
Dr. Aisenberg treated my wife as if she is family. Very caring, addresses all concerns and questions, and helped us get through a trying time. Excellent bedside manners, very efficient and confident in his diagnoses. Would recommend highly!!
Just dont expect a return phone call. It may never happen.
A real gentleman professional, kind, patient, wonderful manner & Pit me at ease , excellent diagnostician. Perfect in every way!
I saw Dr. Aisenberg in 2014 for a extremely bad and excruciating painful diverticulitis flare up. Not only was he obviously uninterested in my health but when I complained about the intense pain I was in and asked him for pain killers he outright accused be of being a drug addict! Guess what Aisenberg, my diverticulitis was so bad I had part of my colon removed a couple of months after seeing you! You are living in the dark ages and are rude, a terrible doctor and defy the very meaning of being a doctor. Don't see this guy if you think you are sick and need help.
Unprofessional, discourteous, and dangerous.

He broke the Hippocratic oath by refusing to treat me, evaluate me, examine me, or even run a simple blood test. He took a personal phone call in the middle of mocking my illness. He could not be bothered to remember my name despite having it on a screen and multiple sheets of paper in front of him.Ignoring the fact I needed immediate medical attention, he flippantly told me I should look into clinics in states more than 1,000 miles away. He deserves to have his license revoked.

Knowledgeable plus compassionate and thorough, a doctor who listens to his patient.
Best doctor I have seen kind, patient, and incredibly smart.
He is the best doctor an intelligent, compassionate, insightful physician. Patients are truly fortunate to have him.
