Dr. Peter Capicotto saved my life several years ago. After many visits to the emergency rooms in extreme pain Dr. Capicotto determined that ecoli bacteria had settled into my spine and my vital organs were shutting down. His emergency surgery in the middle of the night saved my life.
Seek out and speak to actual patients. Don’t believe what you read online. My wife is permanently disabled from this guy.
Dr. Capicotto performed a Foraminotomy, Laminectomy, and fusion from L3S1. He was very professional, and explained everything. His office staff was polite and efficient and his PA Leslie, was amazing. There was a misunderstanding with a hospital employee (not one of his staff) after surgery and Dr. Capicotto went out of his way to clear it up. Follow up visits went smoothly and recovery was without complications. Any successful surgery depends on many factors. For me, it worked perfectly. 5 years out from surgery and Im better than ever. I highly recommend Dr. Capicotto.
Dr. Capicotto did two surgeries on my husband and both were a resounding success.
after 8 months of waiting on MRI results, when I called they said "Oh, We forgot" Wow, what a group! Horrid
Got a referral to see him , he declined my case. It was for a second opinion. He did not evaluate me and based his findings on another doctors reports
I saw Doctor Capicotto for a back injury, caused by and accident. Even though the MRI showed a mild pinched nerve,he took it further by sending me for other test. The results of those test showed that the injuries were more then what he saw in my MRI. So Im pleased that he took my pain and concerns seriously.
Very thorough and explains things so you can understand them. Will not suggest surgery unless its imperative. & Until Ive exhausted all of my options I continue to do what Dr. Capicotto suggests I do. Hes a great doctor & Has a great bed side manner. I would highly suggest this doctor!
Male 74. It has been about two years since lower back surgery. All is going well. Still some soreness in lower back. Exercise is very important. I walk a lot and go Silver Sneakers. I can not tell you if this is normal because I have never been through this before. Nerve damage is a very tricky business. Second opinion is a wise move.
doctor didnt visit after surgery
I Had Back Surgery which was unsuccessful. Then when needed to be treated for pain had 2 horrible experiences with trying to get scripts filled and then when brought to their attention that a mistake was made, refused to admit the mistake and made the patient(me) suffer and refused to fill pain med. script to keep patient comfortable. Basically left patient high and dry to fend for oneself. Very unprofessional.
I was so impressed by Dr. Capicottos bedside manner and knowlege of my injuries. He spent a great deal of time with me and explained everything to me in detail. I did not feel rushed at any time. I am so happy to have him as my surgeon & feel comfortable and confident in my future surgery and recovery.
