Iftikhar A. Syed does not have an adequate amount of comments to generate the sentiment analysis.
I give Ellis a 5 star rating not only cause they saved my life back years ago, but cause they just recently saved my mother's life. There's also two Drs that I would like to mention. The first one is Dr. Richard A Duszak A.K.A DR BATMAN. I give him a 5 star rating not only cause he was quick on what was wrong with her but, his patience with my sister n I was amazing. Also the support he had for us was remarkable. The other Dr. I would like to thank is Dr. Iftikhar A Syed. I definitely give him a 10 star rating even though it goes to 5. I'm just astonished about the fact on how quick he caught this infection she had. Not only did he catch it quick but he had her in the O.R within mins. Ty sooooo much Dr Syed you sir are definitely a HERO in my book!!!!
Dr. Syed performed two surgeries and,if I ever need other surgery, would be my physician of choice
Dr. Syed operated on me about one year ago. He was highly recommended to me by several medical professionals. I was a little nervous about the procedure but he explained the surgery and recovery process and was very reassuring. I would definitely recommend him.
He is a very good Doctor and is straight forward and honest with his answers to our questions.
Dr Syed and Dr Ford are two of the best surgeons around our area. They are compassionate and truly care. They saved my mothers life and just did a hernia operation on my husband. No complaints, just praise.
He is kind, considerate and explains the procedure well. No surprises and great follow-up He is always there for you and makes an illness easier to contend with
My daughter who is 19 was at the office today and had a very bad experience. the X-ray technician was rude and made the xray painful (not easy to do), and Dr. Syed refused to pull a tooth that had a deep cavity and had become very painful. My daughter came home crying, felt she was treated very badly. Dreadful experience for her.
After a standard Hernia surgery in 2016, I had acute respiatory failure, acute kidney failure, almost died several times, and was in a coma for 14 days. I'm still trying to find out how he botched the operation so badly. The hospital records I could get have few details, and I'm wondering if they are trying to keep information from me. This fraud of a "doctor" has been sued already for a death, he almost ended my life 11 months ago, and I will sue also if I can obtain enough info-but that is harder to do than I thought. Never go to this man, and tell friends to get another doctor!
The first time I seen him was last year, I had a car accident and was getting a consult for surgery. His waiting room was standing room only, I waited for over an hour in the waiting room then about a half hour in the room. The amount of time spend with me was about 10 minutes. I was told to wait for more healing then return at a later date. When I went there today for follow up. I waited 35 minutes in the waiting room then 40 minutes in the exam room. When he came in he barely listened to what my concerns were, rolling his eyes and dismissing me. When I laid down for the exam, he didn't even exam the area that I was there for. I had to re lay down and explain my concerns which he basically offered me nothing but, bring in the CT from your accident, which I did last visit along with the notes from the accident. He said see your primary and get back to me. Here its been over a year since my accident I waited for over an hour to get 5 minutes if that with him and go nothing. I am not certain how he became chief of surgery at Ellis Hospital but I am not impressed. He placed a port in my last year and prescribed pain medication that I am allergic to, to go home with. I am going to see another surgeon, on whose office is jammed packed like an assembly line. Being a person in the healthcare field and a patient with two encounters I have to admit I was very disappointed in the care received by him.
This guy is nothing but a butcher. I don't care how many "special dinners" Ellis Hospital throws for him because he is a cash cow. His colon surgery is substandard and leaves a very poor quality of life.Every single office appointment ends up with a 2-3 hour wait, no matter when you schedule it! Save yourself before it's too late!

All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
