I have always appreciated DR. Lappans professionalism. She truley cares
all staff pleasant always through
Dr Lappin has been my Primary Doctor for seven years. I have never experienced a bad appointment with her. She listens and diagnosis me correctly. And she is fast with referrals for other specialist. It is always a pleasure to see Doctor Lappin! She always smiling and courteous. With a genuine concern for health and preventative issues. I have never waited more than ten minutes in the waiting room. And five minutes or less, once I was placed in an examination room. In my opinion, I believe Doctor Sarah Lappin is one of the best Internal Practitioners in this area. I highly recommend her.
I went in for a physical and it took 15 minutes. She barely touches you and there is no follow up. I have to ask to have blood work taken, which is ridiculous, considering I am on medications that do affect your liver. There is not a warm cozy feeling when you walk in the office. I am going to find another doctor!!!! I am sure she is saving the insurance company a ton of money on the time that is not spent on the patient. So Sad :(
Sarah is very nice, but didnt strike me as very competent. The nurses and receptionists I interacted with were less pleasant and even less competent. When I went in I knew I was due for a tetanus shot, but her nurse wasnt sure, but she gave me one anyway and then had a conversation directly outside the door with Dr. Lappin about how neither of them were sure if they should have given me one or not. It is also absurdly difficult to get a hold of a nurse to ask health questions due to their answering service. As others have mentioned, very cursory physical examination and no interested in doing routine bloodwork, looking in your ears /eyes, or anything besides listening to your heart. Seems like a very nice person, but I wouldnt trust her with any real health concerns.
She was so pleasant. I actually felt like she really cared. She did a full physical exam on me and I had no concerns at all! I would recommend her to anyone.
Ive never been to a doctor who would barely even touch me during a routine physical exam. Im not sure if the standards are different in NY state vs NJ or MA, where Ive lived before but this was incredibly unprofessional. All Dr. Lappin did did was listen to my heart after the nurse took my vitals...really thats all...she didnt even ask me to get undressed. While my bloodwork was up to date, she didnt even get my cholesterol checked. She said Im 30, so theres no needdespite the fact that I wrote down on the initial questionairre that my mother has high cholesterol! I was outta there in 10 minutes! Needless to say, Im switching doctors.
It is difficult to follow up with her for anything, including medications and test results. If you experience any sideeffects, the office staff are rude and you never get an answer for your problems!
